Critcake was talking about how fury will be very low on dps this season compared to arms.

I thought that was because of the set bonus people chose? Wasn’t it like one of the worst? I don’t know, I don’t play my Fury warrior enough, but I remember someone saying that. Unsure if it’s true.
archie the main warrior theoricrafter said that there was clear tampering and trolling. accounts voting multiple times and such.
theres also the factor that as it was the tier was inferior yes but blizzard promised balancing which hasnt happened yet and people believe it never will happen
( blizzard didnt do any buffs or nerfs on the last fated season in shadowlands )
so yeah it was a mix of trolling / hoping and coping

Fury got trolled with the tier set bonuses this season, so I’m not surprised. Many Warriors swapped to Arms or another class entirely because of it, myself included. Season 3 Fury Warrior was damn near perfect…

No surprise they are so low. Fury S4 set is absolute garbage. I don’t know what people were thinking voting for that trash.
The set bonuses were buffed. They are just that garbage.

Yes it is, switched last night to new 4 set…10+ ilvl increase overall and large to huge dps loss…wonderful stuff. Some of that may have been due to new/old rotation relearning curve lol. This was a joke on warriors, not doing the “just play Arms” thing…been there done that and hated it. Not a huge surprise though seeing as fury has remained basically untouched forever now no matter what problems it has.

Yeah I’m doing less DPS now than I was on season 3 with better gear. Riddle me that one blizz.
Gunna have to go arms I guess. It’s practice for TWW I guess where I’ll be playing Colossus.

The other (arguably much better) fury warrior in my group switched to s4 4set and arms at the same time i swapped to s4 4set fury and he went right to the top of dps chart while i dropped straight to bottom and we have same ilvl so yeah, something is messed up here lol. We also went from 1 maybe 2 palis to 6+ every night so makes fury look even worse lol.

This is the result of a content creator in the eu getting their audience to vote for a terrible set bonus. Everywhere else s3 was ahead in the voting. I wish we could change the fury set bonus back to the s3 set bonus. Fury s2/s4 is horrendous.

I feel the opposite. I didn’t expect to like Annihilator, but s3 is the most fun I’ve had as fury in years. It feels great to play. I don’t want anything to do with Spear or Ravager, which are required for s2.

The Fury warrior tier set vote was entirely a vote for the play style, not the tier set. The OF reset from S3 tier was strong AF and helped prop up a VERY simple rotation.
This set IS weaker overall and has a higher APM/priority/skill rotation, but is way more engaging. We sorta knew what we were getting into with the hope that the set would be tuned to fix the mistakes from S2.

90th Percentile Heroic All Item Levels is still a bad metric to lead with.
Fury is still pulling ahead on cleave.
“Oh no my Heroic Parses” bro no one cares you’re still gonna get in groups playing Fury if its what you like to play
You should also consider Arms is logging about 8-12 ilvl higher than Fury and that there’s over 3x as many logs being uploaded for Arms over Fury. Less data makes something look bad, and the fact is that you can walk your Fury into a Pug and still top the meter if you’re good at the game because everyone else in the group is probably average
