Thank you~ he’s in vacation atm
you lost all credibility when you mention hunter doing more damage than you. Assuming equal ilvl fury warrior blows hunter out of the water.
No lol Hunters literally got one of the worse hero talents and literally no change to their playstyle since DF and you want to say dev put a lot of time in their class? BM is dead in M+, MM and SV is doing meh not great but not bad. Unless you are playing Sentinel you can see some visual and actually does some damage. Both Dark ranger is pack leader is very undertrune and there are hardly any visual effect at all.
You clearly haven’t seen MM Hunters. Hell, in the latest WoWhead article with log stats, all three Hunter specs are blasting Fury and MM chunks in M+
All three spec what kool aid you drinking. Try playing a BM hunter and come back and say they are blasting in m+
Once again, look at the latest WoWhead article showing the logs from raid. Fury is down by the bottom.
Once again look at WFR how many warrior are brought and how many hunters are brought . i clearly see more warriors then hunters. Is your skill issue. If hunter is better than warrior more should be brought but nope. I see exactly one hunter mostly throughout the WFR from limit warrior? a lot more. In fact they ran more fury warriors than arms due to fury AoE brust damage that line up nicely to kill adds.
Numbers don’t lie, dude. I’m not gonna claim I’m God’s-gift-to-fury, but I am pretty solid at it, and saying “skill issue” when the numbers literally show Fury at the bottom of the barrel and regularly getting outperformed by other classes AND the top Fury warriors in the world saying it’s in a struggling place points to you just being delusional.
Edit: So shout “sKiLl iSsUe” all you want while you hide behind an alt on the forums and probably won’t even get 3k for the season. Drink your Kool-Aid
Everyone is gonna be leaning on this for months to come. Go check Max’s stream. Literally the FIRST THING he does coming back to his comp after celebrating w/ everyone is address the “RIKU GOAT” comments in his chat. Opens up the logs and shows BOTH fury warriors dead last on boss damage. Like… LAST. Bottom. The efficiency burst on adds was taken advantage of, but he also said they would’ve sat one of their warriors for a WW monk if their WW was available. Instead he got sent out to their PVP comp.
EDIT: Before this has a chance to get picked apart, yes its because WW is effectively a better ST/burst aoe class. They only would’ve had 1 fury warr there as a token Battle Shout.
Partial video you got there bud. Full vid he goes through the add damage, boss damage, and you’re seeing only the Acolyte and Overall dam in the shots he’s got in this cut version.
Sidenote, solid choice of music at the start of that vid. Cheeky bit of Apex of the World from FE:Three Houses at the start.
That is getting completely reworked in the first month of xpac. BM hunters were dominating Season 3 and 4 of DF (behind maybe SPriest I think). MM is doing insanely well atm and they got more buffs incoming next patch. Survival is middle of the pack, true, and been in the last few years but they are never truly bad (like some othe melee specs I know), last time they were strong was in SL S1 and they were VERY strong.
I meant that at least one spec of these 3 classes will be above average because Blizzard puts more effort into these 3. ProtPallies are getting another talent overhaul, Hunters getting reworked and Sunfury was overtuned since day one, got released overtuned, is being nerfed multiple times and it still good…
Nieche ≠ = good. But indeed I see more Warriors in raid than Hunters, in M+ tho i haven’t seen much Fury but seen quite a few MMs. BM’s are dead but not for long, as always.
So… now we switch to Arms again to stay competitive? lol
You already did for the Single Target fights like Sikran and Nexus Princess. Fury will still have value for the other fights where its burst AoE is important (Literally every other fight except those two) .
Is really up to you. Look I am saying fury warrior is in a good spot (with the upcoming nerfs is not looking good). I just want to say is not all the doom and gloom currently. I play a lot of different class so I am kind of jack or all trades mater of none. I play whatever class I feel like paying that day. Warrior tends to be a really fun class for me. Yes I play fury mountain thane yes it does less damage than salyer but visually is more fun, seeing big thunder coming off, is great. The rotation feels smooth, is engaging. Hunter feels meh. Is the first class I level to Max in BC and yes I have a lot of noon monet but is all fun and games. I hated with blizzard did when they turn SV into a melee spec and hunter never felt the same. BM currently is just boring to play is not fun it doesn’t do well in AoE, MM is not bad but the long cast time to aim shot puts its down. The issue with Aim shot is that it have a long cast time but the damage it does is meh you have chaos bolt and ice glaicer both does way more damage but almost the same cast time making aim shot really undertune. MM brust damage is good but as more player get better gear it tends to take a step back.
All I am saying is there is no way for blizzard to balance all spec to be close tune one another especially when there are many different activities like BG, 3V3 5V5 raiding, m+, delves with each spec good at something but horrible at other areas. Buffing or nerfing something for certain activiites of the game could break it for another activites. No one likes nerf and whenever a nerf happens everyone who plays that spec goes crazy.
As someone who has mained fury for a few expansions, minus df which I took an extended break and didn’t play at all, I love the class but man seeing it get nerfed over and over is just disheartening.
and I kept asking myself why is mage always on top of the meta or is always part of the meta comp, same with shadow priest, VDH seems to be up there as well with Port pally (not anymore this season they are crap), and guardian druid but you never see Brew being the meta tank or a melee comp. There are good melee through the last expansion that is pretty good but never part of the meta comp.
Or you hardly see any nerf for mages at all. But I guess that’s just how blizzard does things. I never like playing a mage or a priest so even if they are meta I won’t play one.
Mages bring group utility and damage. On top of that, can survive a ton of damage if they know how to play right. What you are describing is called the Caster cleave meta. VDH, even when it’s not the best tank, will usually be taken because of Chaos brand. 5% more damage for the casters. The biggest thing with caster cleave, is that everyone in it has either 8 target soft cap or uncapped AoE. So Mage, Boomkin, Shadow priest, Resto shaman, and Demon hunter.
Next MDI, you’ll most likely see the core of this comp. It’s just the classes that basically have everything and more for all situations.
Don’t forgot Aug evoker. Remember in DF some teams was running no healer comp and opt for an Aug!. Melee dps have no place in MDI at all which is really sad…
