No one pushing mythic is going to be in primarily delv gear. So basing logs on delv gear is irrelevant.

What a ridiculous argument. Of course someone with a higher ilvl and the best enchants will do more damage than someone who is using budget items and has a lower ilvl.

What do you think a parse is? It’s comparing you to other people of your spec (and ilvl since there’s an option for that). No, you’re not gonna be hitting a 99 if you have less. I’m not arguing that. But you can easily get purples, which is respectable damage even with r2s. And, hey, you can easily hit 90s for your ilvl parse even with those.

You wanna compare yourself with people in your bracket, then go ahead. Like I said, if you’re good at your class, you will still do a bunch of damage, and if you’re not, then you’re playing sub optimally. This is the nuance I’m talking about that seems to be lost on people who only look at things face value and can’t analyze their own gameplay.

Mages haven’t been glass canons in a decade and are almost always one of the most highly-tuned dps. They are one of the most survivable dps in the game when played properly. Also, turbo LOL at warriors having more utility than mages. That has to be one of the most absurd statements ever made. Do you even play the game?

Blizz has adopted this crazy changing mentality whether it be nerfing buffing mythic raid/delves/m+

there is no balance at all and they are swinging back and forth between overtuned and undertuned and stealing all the gratification for doing challenging content all the while. Never seen this game so off the rails.

That’s part of the why though. If Fury is nerfed, it’s not on top. Mage always causes other classes to be nerfed so they are top. I just feel that after 20 years its gotten beyond stale and idiotic. Yes we get it. Your name is Blizzard. They can cast Blizzard. They are 1 of multiple classes in the game. Start letting the other classes be top dog for a tier or two.

Mage can afford to be 10th or 14th for a patch or two.
