You won’t benefit from SMF talent if you do this.
As for SMF, I’ve got a long post about it and find it quite enjoyable, if you degenerately run daggers. The 25% overall haste increase from the 44% faster attacks speed is very noticeable and means you always have a GCD available to do something, once you get to around 20% haste. I’m currently sitting around 27% haste and haven’t been out DPS’d in the last 10 M0’s I’ve run. Just ran with 2 Progression guild hunters with similar gear and beat them
