I don’t find kicks to be funny either. Sometimes they’re necessary, if the person getting kicked is a jerk or goes afk for 10 min. without telling anybody. But funny? No.
From what I’ve seen on some of the replies from the OP, looks like he or she wants an echo chamber. “If you don’t find what I find funny and agree with me, I don’t want you commenting here”.
I can’t stand people that vote just for poops and giggles. You’re disrupting and wasting a person’s limited time to play for what? “Ha ha ha, I’m edgy and I love to watch the world burn, ha ha ha”.
It’s a miracle WoW has survived this long with all of this dyooshbaggery going on, and this is why I don’t play retail anymore, or at least one of the reasons. Classic is the way to go, you start pullin that stuff there and people remember.

Just remembered this one. Also in WoD, Iron Docks, I was tanking on my death knight. It was around Christmas so I was wearing a tacky Christmas sweater and a Santa hat. Now at the time you couldn’t mog these into other items, so I was just wearing statless cloth chest and hat. It was well into the expansion so I massively overgeared the dungeon, and was pulling and killing packs with zero issue.
And then a rogue notices my festive gear and goes ballistic. He was infuriated that I wasn’t wearing armor for chest and head, “putting us all at risk” and whatever. He tried to vote kick me but it failed, which I know because the rest of the group started mocking him soundly. Then a vote kick for the rogue popped up, reason being “merry christmas ahole”. And that one passed instantly.

So back in MoP when atonement healing was new, I got vote kicked in lfr for doing too much damage as a healer.
Before I could protest that in addition to being the top DPS I was also the top heal on the meter, they’d punted me.
It annoyed me at the time but it makes me laugh now.

When people vote to kick for the giggles, they should be the ones to get kicked. Just saying. Also, I don’t find people wasting other people’s time funny one bit. It’s not nice and it’s wrong, IMHO.
So in the one dungeon in warlords of draenor where there were those stairs with the wind you had to run up?
I discovered that if you swap blast or leap of faith it will cause the target to fall off and die, nothing they can do about it.
I also discovered that these cooldowns were just short enough that they would be back up by the time they ran back to the stairs part from the entrance after dying.
AKA I soft locked my friend so they couldn’t get past the stairs. My friends kicked me and we were all cackling and they replaced me with a pug healer. No hard feelings.

Someone from ragnaros getting kicked and the reason was “wrong country”.
Got kicked out of a dungeon because one of the players had arachnophobia and instead of turning on the filter, demanded that I get off my spider mount. I didn’t (obviously) and got kicked for being mean, I guess.
I only ride spider mounts now xD

The vitriolic stuff I’ve seen put into that reason box. Not so bad anymore but holy moly do we have some terrible human beings here.
Not really funniest, actually the opposite, but also an incredibly stupid reason, the first time I was vote kicked in better part of two decades was during Mists Remix. We loaded into the instance. No one, including me said anything, no one, including me had weird names (mine was a Paladin named Glory). Everything seemed totally normal. But probably within 30 seconds, before we’d really even started on trash, I got kicked.
I racked my brain trying to come up with some reason why I was kicked. I had a half hour to kill after all. Eventually it occurred to me that my paladin alt was a Black woman. Like, I eliminated all the other possible reasons. That’s pretty much all that was left. I’ll bet the vote kick reason was one word.
That’s the most racebait crap I ever heard.
Literally have no evidence → jump to conclusion → racism.

Funniest one I ever saw…
Tank was complaining about the healer… bad healer this… can’t heal that… Eventually the vote kick comes up and it just says “trash healer”
Vote passes almost instantly.
Only… It was the healer… vote kicking the tank 
Nothing funny about kicking another player.
