I’ve always wanted to try tanking but I’m not sure what tank to choose.
What’s a good tank relatively easy to learn? At most, I’ll probably do some low mythic keys. And I don’t care if the tank is FOTM or not.

Most fun is blood dk imo.
It’s also the hardest tank though.
Easiest tank would be bear, by a mile.

Fun and easy is probably the unofficial class description of prot paladin. VDH is stronger at the moment, though.

Paladin and DH are definitely on the short list after asking here.
Cmon bullet it’s not so bad. On my new character I’ve only been tanking in pugs. Did a few on this too (though I don’t have the tank legendary yet).
Play a Paladin tank. You can use your consecrate as a permanent kite zone, you have multiple defensives including a cheat death on a 2min CD and you have a ridiculous amount of ways to cc/interrupt mobs. You even have mass amounts of utility to provide for your group. On necrotic weeks you have multiple abilities to completely clear necrotic stacks without having to run.
In my opinion Paladin is the ultimate tank you use if you’re pugging with people who are not so good as you can cover SO MUCH stuff that would otherwise wipe the group.

Idk I find paladin active mitigation to be garbage. You’re at the mercy of your healers and your cooldown management is way more unforgiving than any other tank. I say go vengeance or guardian. If faceroll is the goal, hands down Guardian druid

I’d place Guardian Druid as easy, I dunno about fun but I can say once you get a legendary for them, they do become fun. Very difficult to be killed for sure.
You don’t have to kite everything. Just specific mobs. With a good group kiting isn’t hard at all.
The reason V. DH is good right now is two things, not one. The first thing is because balance druid and fire mage. DH increases magic damage done. So it’s obvious choice if you’re bringing two carry caster dps. The second thing is their ability to kite. But even if they nerfed kiting. V. DH would still be the go to choice for meta comps.
