Full Man'ari Customization

In 10.1.7 we’re allegedly getting Man’ari customization–which makes me SUPER happy; however, I really wish that we actually get full Man’ari customization and not just a cheap immitation of Man’ari.

From what I can see on Wowhead, atm it’s just a cheap immitation. Some red skin colors that don’t look like the man’ari skin colors, a few hair colors, and some eye changes.

What I would like to see:

  1. fel eye colors
  2. demonic wings alla Kil’Jaeden and the other high-ranking man’ari in Antorus.
  3. fel scars all over the body

Please, give us full customization options; i.e., let us make a man’ari that looks like the currently unplayable man’ari in the game. We already have a race–the dracthyr–that have wings now, so it would be ridiculous not to give us the man’ari wing customization option.

I want to make a high-ranking, red-skinned, fel-colored eyed, winged, man’ari warlock.

What is a Man’ari??
.
Why waste resources developing things that arent even promoted in game?

Another customization option they should add to Draenei now is DHs.

I wish Blizzard would do more class-specific character customizations like Demon Hunters and DKs get. These options for warlocks, special tattoos or markings for other classes, would make class fantasy more distinct.

I’m hoping the eyes are not just a flat texture, and have a good glow to them. Except the pitch black ones (obviously).
Draenei warlocks should get access to more customization, though, to show their undying dedication to the craft. Felcracked hooves and horns!

Yes, that is my hope with the new man’ari customization.

To my understanding–at least my guess is–that these customization options will just be part of the standard draenei customization options??

I don’t know.

Man’ari are Eredar who are fel-touched, so all of the Eredar that serve the legion.

Where’s the Feltotem customization, Blizz???

Yeah. I’m really happy that playable red eredar are a thing, but I was really hoping we’d someday get Man’ari as a Horde allied race. Get the full fel-corrupted Eredar experience.

I would love this

Here’s what a man’ari player character COULD look like if they wanted to give us full customization options, for both male and female:

I really hope they let us give them wings. The Dracthyr have wings… and they can fly with them. The man’ari should have the option to have wings… since some ma’nari do have them… and fly with them the same way that Dracthyr can.

It would be be absurd if you get a bonus ability just off of cosmetics.

I would take the wings even if they didn’t do anything. I like the dragon wings and they don’t do anything. I think the people asking for wings AND the ability to use them are asking for too much.

It would be amazing.

The Dracthyr have wings and can “fly.”
The Ma’nari also can have wings; they should also be able to “fly” like the Dracthyr.

It’s no different than making a Worgen who can Run Wild.

You are making a cosmetic choice, such as choosing a winged ma’nari; therefore you can fly. It is analogous to choosing to make a Worgen instead of a Human and being able to Run Wild.

Personally I want to see more of these. Tauren Paladins, for example, should be able to turn into a flying form. Perhaps not the same as a Druid–maybe it can work with a cast time and outside of combat–but that would ADD lore to the game; it would ADD enjoyment.

That’s pushing everyone to pick that cosmetic. Bad idea. Dracthyr also can’t fly. We get gimped soar vs dragonriding.

And worgen aren’t human. They’re worgen for a reason.

I’d actually like to see fel marks on all races

Yes; however, the player can make the choice.

Not all players wanted to make Dracthyr. Not all players enjoy “flying” with their Dracthyr.

The winged ma’nari being able to fly really isn’t the bonus you think it is. In order for them to fly, they have to deal with those massive wings.

Not all players enjoy having massive wings on their characters.

As we’ve seen, most players aren’t playing the Dracthyr–even though they have wings and can “fly.”

players aren’t playing dracthyr might have something to do with they can only play evoker. Just a thought

You’re very right! That is definitely a possible reason.

I currently have 2 Dracthyr: one I leveled, and the other I’m just sitting on until I can make him as a warrior.

Having said that, I spend 99% of my time on my Dracthyr Evoker in her human form. I really like her human form and armor and LOVE the idea of “faking it” as a human.

Even though “flying” with her is cool–and I do like it quite a bit–it’s not enough to have me switch my main.

I prefer my Blood Elf Paladin. Even if the Dracthyr could become Paladins (which they will at some point, unless Blizzard changes course), I still wouldn’t make one.

Not everyone wants a winged character. At least with Dracthyr we can hide the wings almost perpetually if we want.

I think most ma’nari won’t be winged; however, I would LOVE the winged option, as none of my other Eredar will have them.

And, since games are meant to be enjoyed, it would be lovely if their wings would work the same as a Dracthyr’s. (Also, Demon Hunters should get “flying” too.)

The problem with that is apparently only Female Eredar have wings. KJ is just special so its unlikely to happen.
