Fueled by Violence is undoubtedly a phenomenal talent but I am beyond confused. Doing 250 million deep wounds damage as an arms warrior in a key, my healing + overhealing from Fueled by Violence comes out to roughly 33-35%. The talent node says 85%. For prot warrior the talent node says 115%, and I’ve never seen my healing/overhealing combination from deep wounds do as much healing as the bleed actually does damage. Is details bugged or am I missing something completely ? I don’t see anyone talking about this so I don’t understand why I’m seeing such a difference in the numbers here.

And looking at my logs it’s not adding up either.
What gets me close to the correct numbers is if deep wounds crits only heal for the amount of a regular deep wounds tick.
Which leaves me at healing for about 70% of what it should be doing. You should make a post in the big report forums.
its a bit strange yes, given my recent run on +12 ML for example
Prot Warr Deep wound DoT about 2046 tick : 144.65M total damage with an average about 70k damage
Fueled By Violence proc just 473 hits with total 73M total healing, but the average healing is 154K a heal
quite interesting number there.
What was your break down of ticks vs crit ticks and if you assume deep wounds crits ticks heal the same as regular ticks does it work out?
Aint no way this number is on live. My FbV heals only ~17% overall.
It could be that when DW ticks on mutiple tagets at once, your character receives only 1 tick of FbV for the total dmg of DW ticks at that moment.
FBV is just bad compared to BV. I’m not really sure what situation would make you want to take it.
Yeah, been looking at logs about this too since seeing this thread.
There’s also the same tick loss happening for Arms as well so it’s not entirely a protection only issue with the talent.
Even on single target encounters where you would think the DW ticks to FbV heals would be a 1:1 parity of hits at the very least even if it wasn’t accounting for the actual damage dealt by a critical strike.
Losing 30-60% of your expected healing ticks on ST leads me to believe there’s some serious buggy interaction happening with this.
it was an average from the entire run, including crits - it was quite old now its gone from my logs sadly.

normal proc : 84.9% total 1085 hits 61k damage 53k dps Min 0 Max 118K
now the Fuel By Violence part.
hits: 269
average: 105k
total heal: 28M
HPS: 20k
min: 0
max: 680k
no crits.
overhealing about 17.4% total, the FBV alone contribute about 3.4% total heal on my self sustaining(my self-heal/sustain is pretty high, mind u)

Nope, there was a 30 - 60% tick loss entirely.

Didn’t do the math on it outside of comparing the actual ticks which varied wildly from fight to fight. Even though there is overhealing from FbV my thought process on it is it either does not heal when you’re 100% hp (so only overheals occur from ticks that happen to heal you over full hp) or it’s bugged entirely and some ticks are nulled at random intervals.
