Can’t we just had a 3% buff to glacial spike and fix this?
Devs, are we this lazy?
How come they are sitting in D-tier trash bin, and the alternative is a madman’s interpretation of arcane mage that feels as boring to play as driving a model A car, if that model A required 10 stirring wheels to drive. Wtf is this mess. Make this stopped!
Why can’t we have a legion arcane mage that does damage? That was fun to play but it was D-tier lol.
But then frost mage rotation raid and m+ might be one of the most enjoyable rotations we still have in the game. But we refuse to buff its ST???
Fix it. And also, remove the chance for any and all boots in the game that aren’t the reshii boots from dropping in our weekly vault. That is a cruel joke.
Frost mages are fun, to me at least. I stopped maining one after Shadowlands after being my main for about seven years, all because of one thing.
The necessity to maintain as close to 33.34% crit without ever going under was frustrating. I’d be retaining gear with all sorts of different stats just to keep the wasted stats to a minimum, which led to some really unenjoyable moments where I would get an awesome piece of gear… just to have it sit because I couldn’t make it work for Shatter capping.
I certainly enjoy being a Silly Old Frost Mage, and only have tried anything else, when our spec, if not class as a whole, were too NERFED to use, which has occurred many times in WoW’s history.
Today, the most justified gripes for Frost Mages is definately Glacial SPITE, and the season 3 mage set bonus for ONLY Glacial SPITE.
They really shouldve made these boots be the outcome of any boots you catalyze. That’d be rather fair I feel.
Not a necessity though. I have 24% right now, and thats totally fine. Hitting and maintaining shatter cap is a feature of the past from when we had poorer tools, its almost never worth it, after all the closer you get to 100% shatter crit the less valuable each point of crit becomes.
all casters are very secondary dependent and have to hold onto gear to swap out stat priorities, just a good way to play the season smart. The biggest gripe I have with frost is just our tuning, and especially spellslinger is destined to be the bottom of the list for a long time I feel. Frost has been treated as the PVP spec this season and of course arcane is doing great so it doesnt give blizzard any incentive to fix frost.
