So Idk if it’s since I’m in the “Leveling phase” But it’s super discouraging already how fast you die in pvp with a few light weight ability’s to lower damage? How are frost dk’s at 60? Will I have to have pocket healers or will we be center of attention targets due to survivability?
Deathstrike I really dislike what they did with this ability just make it leech/heal for x % on use like it use to be…
most dk’s are used to simply surviving with DS but it’s super nerfed now, especially without decent conduits later
with that said, make sure you’re utilizing amz, ams, ibf, and ghoul sac. it’s not like any of these are actually “good” in comparison to other melee dps defensives, but i can’t tell you how many dk’s don’t even know ghoul sac exists
either way, yeah we flop atm
ghoul sac is also at least a 2 GCD situation with zero damage output. Deathstrike at least lets you set it up while putting pressure on, or at least it used to. Now with healing completely wrecked and damage being terrible overall, its barely worth using.
Proper way to PvP in SL as Frost DK is to anticipate getting nuked, plan and execute all your survival CDs flawlessly and hope that in the space of that time someone else comes along and kills the person attacking you.
Its quite frankly a nightmare honestly. Anticipate dying a lot lol. Only a healer can save you
