Haha, I actually thought of a rhino too. But boars are way meaner and those ice tusks could do some damage!

Alright, i know i’ve been gone a while (basically this whole expac) so i’ve missed a few changes, but why is blizzards pet spec (unholy) getting an overhaul while frost sits the way it is?
Maybe i’m missing some patch notes, and havent seen some things, but as far as i can tell, unholy just got 2 pages of changes, and frost (which is almost always the weaker of the two) got a sticky notes worth.
(dont get me wrong i’m excited as f for the unholy changes and will def be giving it a shot, bye bye wounds you wont be missed)
How do we feel about frost right now, and going into the new expac?
They already did a re-work of some of Frost DK’s talents this current patch. My guess is they’re building around that, while Unholy hasn’t had any major changes in a while.
I suppose.
I can only hope there are larger changes to come. Excluding a few talents here or there (Empowered rune weapon for example) the general kit seems the same.

Because apparently changing BoS upkeep from spending runes to spending runes with KM is a “rework”.
Frost wasnt reworked. Just some pain points addressed and then they buffed Obliterate 30% for no reason so nothing was actually solved.
This is just the start of alpha.

My question is, does recalling frostwyrm count to proc echoing fury and apocalypse now? I can see you saving the recall for after 12s or at least after you consume Reaper’s Mark’s first 2 exterminate procs post explosion and after the first fwf exterminate procs

Sorry, but no, it wasnt a rework. If this constitutes as a Frost rework then so does just buffing Frost Strike.

Disagree, although the spec wasn’t built again from the ground up it got fundamental changes and new mechanics. To compare that to a froststrike buff is false equivalence on a large scale.
This topic hasn’t aged after 2 month almost 3 months. Quit putting misinformation, it was never been one playstyle but both.

dual wield didn’t work at all at launch.
you didn’t even get dual wield quest rewards in the starting zone until legion.

The creators of the DK saying Frost is DW? Its straight out of the horses mouth, the creators literally said it.
New mechanics like a revert of Frostscythe just given an increase in cost? Oh yeah oh so new!
No misinformation given, just a bunch of people not living in reality. Blizzard has literally stated multiple times that Frost is a DW spec. Why is it that everyone else knows that Frost is a DW spec except for you spiteful hateful people?
What playstyle? Tell me what was the difference in playstyle in Wrath? Cata? Oh right, there wasnt one, just DW had everything better. Its almost like the one giving out misinformation is you.

And? This isnt the point that you think it is. You couldnt even play Frost until you were in the level 60+ because you didnt have the necessary abilities. Guess Frost wasnt a spec then because you couldnt play it properly at the start.
