Frost dk having 1 better comp, Does not = Frost DK being a better spec

Unholy is the better spec

Frost has the better comp

And that comp is hard carried by the Devo

Unholy has better utility, Mortal strike, survivability, the only thing it lacks is instant burst damage

If the meta was slower, and every spec in the entire game didnt become a weird 1 shot spec, Then unholy would obviously be the superior spec

Either way, Giga buff frost and unholy dk, Unnerf the survivability spellwarding is gone

Frost can do the same thing with ww dk but ight

Unholy is pretty much the worst spec in game along with outlaw

Its still not the frost dk that deals the majority of the game winning damage, its the ww similar to how its also the devo evoker that carries the comp

The devo literally nearly 1 shots them in the blind setups, and the WW does nearly equal damage as the frost dk does in burst and cleave, but with the added mortalstrike that increases their pressure significantly past what frost can from lacking the MS

Frost is just a setup bot, not really much else to it

That would be the order of the worst specs in the game. Still doesnt change that unholy has a stronger design and utility kit than frost does, it just remains inferior from the garbage 1 shot meta it cant keep up in

News flash the meta isn’t rly about one shots and unholy is still worse

Game revolves around what comp you’re able to play since its a 3v3 game. Frost synergizes better with a stronger comp so technically is stronger despite it individually being weaker.

An example would be rogue could suck but if mages were god tier then rogues would be stronger than basic perception just because of synergies with the comp.

Unholy is worse in 3s because it cant help make a class shine (in its current state) like fdk can do with devoker.

But yeah I think unholy design is overall better than frost currently and unless they state they’re doing a rework for fdk, then I think its better to ask and wait for easier to implement changes to make unholy feel better since that seems more realistic of an ask. The changes they need to make for unholy to feel decent are fairly simple, only issue is there are many.

Plus unholy is a way cooler spec in general and lots of potential. Just poorly implemented.
