From fan to hater

This post probably won’t be read by blizz, but I just wanna give them a shout out! I’ve been playing Blizz games since Warcraft 2 and been a huge fan of their content. Massive fan boy, loved Warcraft 2,3, Diablo 1,2, WOW for first 3 expacs, never got into SC though.

I just wanna give you guys a shout out, over the last 10 years how I’ve gone from a huge fan boy to a hater. This pvp change was the final nail in the blizz coffin! Once I’m done with classic I will never be buying a blizz product again. How out of touch you guys are with your ‘customers’ (I’m not gonna use the word fans anymore) is just mindboggling. It’s like you are actively trying to get me to hate your games.

I understand that a company needs to make money, but you guys have lost your way big time. Your games used to have this polished feel, you could tell everyone working on it were passionate. Now every decision you make just reeks of a cheap money grab, putting out the bare minimum effort to get a pass.

I really hope you guys find your way again, cause I’m just…disappointed.

you keep saying blizz this blizz that, but blizzard doesn’t exist anymore in anything except name. they were fully taken over by activision in 2014 or 2016 and then the ceo was removed in 2018 and replaced with an activision guy. the blizzard you knew is totally gone and has been for years.

on a side note the old blizz ceo and dev team made a new gaming studio called dreamhaven
