No one needs to educate me on what I’ve been my entire life, not that it’s anyone’s business.
Asexual people don’t talk about it because they’re not interested in it in any way whatsoever.
None.
So if you have someone who says they’re “halfway” or “grey”, that’s just dumb. It’s the complete and total lack of interest in that particular facet of life that will keep legit people away from groups.

Heterosexuality: Liking the opposite sex.
Homosexuality: Liking the same sex.
Bisexuality: Liking both.
Pansexuality: Liking all the things, M, F, I, MtF, FtM, etc.
Asexuality: Liking no one in that way.
Demisexuality: Liking certain people in particular.
Graysexuality: Sometimes liking others in that way.
You do know there’s also grey and demi in Asexual right?
Because I’ve never heard of a “greyasexual” and thought that it was either some kind of joke or that people didn’t realize that that is exactly what happens to most people at a certain age, usually right around or after mid-life changes which are weirdly like puberty in reverse.
I do know that many people don’t talk about the effects of aging so I figured it may be a mistake.
Still, a true asexual won’t be interested in being included in any groups that discuss sexuality or have pride in their sexuality. Most don’t regard it as anything of interest or special.
