Friendly Reminder About Store Mounts

Rylak should’ve been a drop from the last boss in Grimrail Depot. Wod didn’t have any dungeon mounts.

I’d wager that many anti-store mount people are also anti-Token.

I don’t agree with them, though. It’s funny how much of a hypocrite Asmongold is. He doesn’t like Store Mounts because they aren’t available through playing the game, according to him, but he supports FOMO cosmetics, and he also got gold funneled to him by his followers. I’m bringing him up because he started this craze.

He unashamedly bragged about how he made funneling gold and gear to streamers a popular thing.

Instead of talking about mounts in the store we should encourage blizzard to sell gear and achievements in the store. KEK

hes never one to miss jumping on a source of potential outrage, i think he missed his calling in “journalism”

Except, it is fairly easy.

I’m a total “casual”, total newbie at gold-making and I made 4 WoW tokens (or around 800k+) this month. I’ll be getting my 5th WoW token over the next few days, all bought with gold.

It’s not outside the realm of possibility that a casual/GD’er could farm up 400k in a month if they put their mind to it.

Care to share your secret? Let me guess… crafting lego mats?

If you enjoy WoW content, then you should be thrilled that suckers pay for mounts and content that is optional. These mounts make profit for content creation. Six month subs save money. if you don’t have a six month sub, yet still play the game, you just wasted money. The price of a mount is about the same as two drinks, no big deal. Asmon hate for this is just hilariously idiotic.

For me it’s Callings til my eyes bleed, 16+ alts, and Korthite Crystal sales. That’s it, nothing fancy or complex. No “flipping” or “goblin” AH stuff, I don’t even use TSM addon.

Works for me, my sub is now paid-up thru June with all the gold

If someone has the time and alts to do that, they are no casual player.

You really need to start charging more. That’s a lot for a mount.

This has literally been my end-game loop for the past few months.

Since torghast, the maw, and korthia have been dead content to me since August, and SoD is a non starter for guildless, I’ve been in an auction house loop for a while now.

Literally during the january sale I cashed out a bunch of my gold into WoW tokens to get some store mounts.

Auction house and professions are key. Once you get good at that, and you know your markets, it only takes a few minutes a day. If you are spending your game time actively farming/playing for gold, you are just wasting your life away.
