Fresh servers are a Band-Aid

Nah, the large servers have plenty of levelers active

A lot of people just want to to play the part of the game where the social aspect is at its peak. Aka fresh servers where everyone is leveling

That’ll last about 2 weeks. So blizzard invests into fresh servers so people can get their ‘leveling experience’ for a short time and be back where they were already.

It lasted longer than that this time around and people were still farming 5man content into p3. It wasn’t until after that when groups became scarce.

Two weeks would be leveling insanely fast lol I don’t think you’re correct there.

If people want fresh why not? If players want to continue current character progression on existing servers it will be zero consequence to them.

I’m very interested to see if they do end up existing on how popular they’ll be.

No evidence whatsoever to support your claims

boosting meta can be almost completely killed by AoE capping mages. that simple.

mages should not be able to aoe down a group of 300 mobs that he pulled throughout the entire dungeon. a simple change will put a huge damper on the boosting business. obviously it won’t die as mages are still powerful at aoe clearing, but it wont be as effective and rampant as it is today.

“Fresh” NEW Servers is a Band-Aid solution, yes. “Fresh” Seasonal Servers are not.
