Fresh Server Transfers / Boosts

. Can we get an update on when / if Transfers and boosts are going to be avaliable for these Realms?

Good question, I suppose! Has it already been 90 days?

Well, they stated:

• For at least 90 days, you will not be allowed to boost a character on Fresh Start realms.
• For at least 90 days, Fresh Start realms will not be available destinations for character transfers.
• Death Knights cannot be created on these realms without a level 55 character on that same realm.

And clarified with:

There is nothing saying that transfers must flip on exactly on day 91, day 191, or even day 991 and we don’t intend to commit to an arbitrary timeframe for transfers to become enabled super far ahead of time.

90 days is the absolute minimum amount of time we’d wait to open transfers, and we intend to listen to the feedback we get on this very carefully. If the realms are healthy and we don’t feel the need to open transfers on these realms, we won’t rush to do so.

They have recently opened transfers from Angerforge to Skyfury. Angerforge was opened when people were complaining about queues on Skyfury, and was also a fresh start realm, so that seems to just be consolidating the population back to Skyfury.

Do the realms seem to be healthy? Skyfury has a decent population and 2 factions, so I’d say yes.

I wouldn’t hold my breath on transfers or boosts for fresh start realms for the foreseeable future, but it’s up to you to read the information given and come to your own conclusions, I suppose.
