ive done 27 10s this week(excluding my main) i didnt time 4 of them. so im not sure what you are doing but it aint right.
It sure has nuked the latency on deadtail. Mythic plus was god awful tonight. I don’t understand how such a dead game have server issues.
What’s your class and what’s your rating… Both drastically affect what pugs invite you.
Like I said its an alt with only 2500 io and its a BM hunter which is about as unmeta as you can get for group invites.
excluding my main they are all around 2.4-2.6k
Again… the class and role you’re running greatly affects that. And 2.4 - 2.6 will garner vastly different invites when it’s not your own key.
Which raises another point was it your own key and you were putting the group together or were you applying to groups.
Timing 10’s is not mega low chance. It’s usually hovering between 40 to 70 percent in my experience.
Completing 10’s is easy 80 percent and higher.
Also if you’re DPS your chances of getting invited are significantly lower than Tank or Healer no matter your IO or ilvl. It’s a lot of competition plus the dungeon, plus the intention of timing it or not, plus the weekly affix, plus the comp…It starts to add up and there is even personal preference.
I tend to do better picking up groups of players who que together versus alone so I do that too.

This week on my bm hunter alt. Then all of a sudden it fell off a cliff and I’m getting about 1-2 successes out of 10 runs. 80-90% fails.
For timing 10s on my ret paladin I get invited to much better groups and my success was closer to 90% plus.
My point of the original post was this week fresh classic seems to have turned 10s into a cesspool of bad.
You have to willingly sign up for those hopeless groups, so in a sense, it is self-inflicted.
I literally just mentioned that I got invited to a group with a 3k healer and 3k tank and the healer and tank repeatedly died.
Self inflicted? Nah.
I did, I have had a pretty consistent experience but I’m a healer so it’s easier to be that way.
Sounds like IO that was got with a self contained group which for that tank and healer might not have been the wisest thing.
Sucks but honestly at the end of the day IO and ILVL are good indicators not perfect.
It’s not that you won’t fail, but failing eight more times with the same setup (io.) Cause Zalathel brought up a point.
They won’t even be there a week.
Classic sounds awesome until you play it and realize it’s 100% solved, and has degenerated into botting, gold selling, and gold-for-loot.
