The issue started when I was fighting mythic Lura with my guild when I randomly disconnect. For a long while whenever I would try to get back onto my character I would be stuck on connecting to server before disconnecting again. After a long while I would be able to access characters again but now every time I log onto a character I have anywhere between 10 seconds- 1 minute before I disconnect again. This happens repeatably no matter if i sit afk use abilities get on a mount interact with anything ect. I have tried this on every character on my account including one on different realms and ones that are on different regions on the NA servers. I do not have any packet loss, my ping is normal, I am able to play other online games with no problem at all on the same and on other devices on my network, I have tried reinstalling both the client and game multiple times as well as uninstalling all addons including the platform I use for addons from my pc, I have restarted my router multiple times, all of my drivers are up to date, I have deleted all temporary files as well as clearing all cache in my game files. I believe that is everything I was able to find to be a potential solution online although I may be forgetting something and the blizzard support was zero help. Really have no idea where to go from here if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated.
It’s not just you. It’s a bunch of people. Retail or Classic, doesn’t matter. Be on for a few moments then D/C. Might be a DDoS attack in retaliation to that GM cheating for a M+ streamer.
Edit: It’s apparently a node outage in the Southeast.
Im having the same issues in California, trying as many servers as possible all the same result.
Playing out of Louisiana, I’m having the same issue… tried giving it a few hours, uninstalling and reinstalling, scanning and repairing, verifying files… no matter what, just lets me run a few feet forward and everyone just stops in their tracks and I can’t use any keybinds and just disconnect
Are you trying to reach servers in Chicago instead of nearby Las Vegas?
Yep, makes sense since it’s a node outside Blizzard’s network in the Southeast US causing this.
Thank god I’m not the only one yeah this has been happening over all night for me.
Think this is blizzard server side problem, even tons of people in my guild are having the same issue most called it a night and dipped. But I am hoping this gets fixed asap.
hope it isn’t a “well we can’t fix it oh well deal with it move on to something else” type of deal going on… really hoping it’s something they can get back up in a couple weeks or so… just saying I know it’s not the biggest deal to have a small portion of their business down
