#Free The Nose - Darkspear Troll Heritage Is Abysmal - All Feedback Ignored

Not only that, the 2 other masks are comically undersized. Need to be 3 times bigger. Really feels like Trolls and Draenei Heritage was an afterthought to shut people up because Blizzard was tired of being asked about it.

It would have made much more sense to make them comically large like the Sen’Jin village masks instead of whatever the heck they were going for here.

At least Draenei got arguably the best questline in game.
Trolls continue to get afterthought treatment.

The issues with this set is baffling, how they can’t know troll’s masks don’t cover their noses? They never saw a troll ingame? Zul’jin?

If this was an elf matter, it would be fixed in TWO DAYS.

This reminds me of the issue with the zandalari trolls, the male model, where they FORGOT that trolls have three finger toes, one in the back of the feet, BIG troll characteristic, i made several threads to ask for a fix, eventually after weeks it was done, barely.

Its just… they seem to not care about other races anymore, its only elves and humans now.

How preposterous that elves get to have beards and trolls don’t

Baffling is right man. Is this seriously the kind of quality we are to expect from now on? Not just the helm the whole set and the quest line too. The fact that this hasn’t been fixed or addressed is absolutely wild.

Troll and orc questline were depressing, you can see they try to do something, but you also can see they were not putting any effort, its soulless, like you spend half a hour reading stuff and names on the wiki

Yup totally agree, the Orcs lost their Officers in Siege of Orgrimmar and they never bothered to replace them. Thralls gone soft, Varok is dead and where is everyone else? Hardly anyone else worth mentioning, what kind of an MMORPG puts this little effort into their NPCs? Rokhans model in Org didn’t even get updated to his new model from the heritage quests, and Vol’Jin appears to be alive and well in the hut right next to the new altar if you swing by Echo Isles.

I laughed when I first seen the set on wowhead lol. They should of done something with the plate transmog from ZA and ZG dungeons for the heritage armor. It looks way better!

All 3 OG Horde races are in incredibly depressing state. Absolutely baffling.

Welcome to amateur hour! May I take your order??

The horde was hijacked by elves. Old devs, the ones who made and liked the warcraft 3 horde are gone.

Faction and races were systematically erased from prominence, characters killed, worldbuilding and npcs neglected. Thrall is less than a shadow of himself, still complaining how he doesn’t want to lead,(so why are you even here), Rokhan is a non-character and Baine is himself, can’t get any worse.

Even the Blood Elves and Nightborn don’t get much screen time. The Horde feels like they’re fading into the background the Orcs and Trolls especially. I would have expected them to be setting up for Vol’Jins revival with the quest line but there wasn’t even a peep of him existing. Once Thrall is dead what even is there? What even is there with him alive?

They at least get quests, transmogs, customizations and what not, since lore matters little to most of their players.

Its ridiculous how they can get to look like dark elves, but trolls can’t get to pick green and blue skin from the forest and ice trolls, or how orcs still don’t have access to dragonmaw and shattered hand skin colors, despite being in the game for years.

He will be substituted by his wife, just like it happened in the orc heritage quest, since everyone treated her like a goddess-like shaman and he was just the uncle over there

Yikes, yeah I didn’t do the Orc quest line, don’t get me wrong I’m glad they’re doing something with her character but I’m gettin real sick of roadkill Thrall chilling on the sideline groaning about how he’s not good enough to have powers anymore.

I’m still reeling from this, are they ever going to go anywhere with this plot line? Or is the just the end of the road? all those quests were just for funzies jk he’s not gonna come back?

Nope! You’ve been punked, turns out Darkspear do die and for some reason they don’t come back even with multiple expansions worth of build up and a magical wild seed.

It’s the norm. Vol’Jin was hyped to be a Warchief since Cata, and when he actually gets to become one, he immediately gets disposed off without achiving anything notable.
Then in MoP/his own very book, there is a plot of uniting troll tribes drops, Vol’Jin even said “For the Darkspear and all the tribes!”
Then developers drop the news “It’s time to unite all the elf tribes!” (apparently elves are tribal)
Vol’Jin being build up for a Loa. I’m willing to bet he will eventually come out, and his career as Loa will be as much impressive as Warchief or as Magi “speaker of the Azeroth”.
He will appear there and there , give a speach, give maybe a boon, and then disappear.

I just no longer expect anything good from Vol’Jin plot. I’d rather if we focused on Rokhan and the living trolls. But even in their own very heritage they were duped.

Everything is more important than troll stuff. They got so much feedback that the mast is bad and ofc they do nothing about it. They gotta work on TWW now, don’t they?
And who cares about trolls, they’re not that popular anyway, right?

My guess is that many of the the artists making the clothing models now are people who do not play the game.

It also would explain why the back of helms are often so poorly done, leave chopped hair or worse, bald head, or even left basically untextured ( see Draenei heritage, Warlock season 1 tier set WWW) the artists seem unaware that the majority of the time, players are looking at the back of their character.
