PVP server is truly an idea that people think they like but actually they donât.
I think Blizzard should really just enable the PVE to PVP transfer. PVP server nowdays are no difference than PVE server. Otherwise for those who are afraid of getting stucked in PVE server will have no choice but transfer to the mega single-fraction PVP server, namely, Farilina, Benediction.
When is this free transfer valid up to?
How would this help with keeping the current PVE servers alive? They have been more stable from what I can see.

There is no free transfer option for WM. IF you look at the list of all eligible free move realms. Most are horde-heavy. There are in total near 6000 horde candidates while there are like 500 alliance. If half went to Grob, it would be a 1-1 ratio realm.
Grobb Horde is populated enough to attract those moves. The reason people will join that 70% alliance server is because of the risk-free free transfer in the recent week.
Yeah but, if you already have 70s on a server, it should allow you the option to bring more of your chars over with the free xfer. You can only play one at a time so itâs not really affecting the balance. Plus, Herod is Horde dominated and I can transfer my Horde chars to that server.

Timezones mostly. Its really crappy to recruit in a time zone 3 hours ahead. âoh our raid starts at 8PM PST, which is now 11pm on our new serverâ.
Some people it doesnt matter, to some its a big issue. Why whitemane > grobb makes sense just to stay in your server location
I know that, but WM is paying to leave at a pretty fast rate⌠and if they are going to pay many may choose grobb over bene for the time zone benefit.
There are lots of East Coast players on Grobb, myself included. There are guilds that raid at East Coast friendly times. Timezones are a non issue here.
Grobb actually looks pretty fun on both horde and ally side. Made a lvl 1 char on both and both had /4 poppin.
Any chance you can open xfers off sulfuras or earthfury if people en mass go to grobb? Its cool grobb benefited, but the other realms are kinda dead (sulf is ok if your horde, and earth fury is meh). Since people arent xferring to those realms, let us go to grobb

Please open up free transfers for Whitemane.
Itâs cool pvpâing all the time and all, but literally have no good times on this server now that almost every good player/guild on alliance has x-ferred to bene or another at this point.

I love seeing a 70 main wipeout a 65 that wiped out the 70âs 60 alt. Whatever. Bragging about PVP exploits is at best childish. Get rid of Wpvp!
The problem for Blizzard is that there are better games for PVE. They are best at Raids/Dungeons and Wpvp.
If free character transfers for all were allowed there would only be all Horde servers and all Alliance servers. There are very few players that want to transfer to be on a minority faction of a server. Those few will likely transfer when the server balance is 85/15.
Either force balanced servers or go with Wpve and emphasize raid/dungeons.
Any chance you can do something for servers where the active population of one faction is significantly below the other, or if one faction has less than 15 players?
Some of the medium pop realms that were destination servers got no new fresh blood, and arguably should be servers you can xfer off of, not too. Its also pointless logging onto a medium server as Ally, when there are no ally left on any server other than Benediction or Grobb
