Free Character Moves for Chaos Bolt-US

hell just let us go to lava lash or something, anythings better than ONE decision mega server or die.

This is sneaky and bad mannered, to not even give any reason as to WHY they’re doing it. To destroy a community…

TBH the server was dead and this is the right decision, disregard the malders who are lucky enough to raid at 5pm server time.
There were 0 morning time raiding guilds so any afternoon-shift workers were stranded on this server. 20 man raids would have been even more brutal to find.

Really disappointed at the way this is being handled, lot of folks having to choose between their horde and alliance communities now.
Personally my friends and I chose CB to avoid the megaserver mess, and are now forced to deal with it anyway with the bonus of being forced to later. Really takes the breath out of P3 launch for us.

Obviously you won’t read these comments or take any of this into consideration, but I do hope you all do better next time.
Edit: Literally my first/last post on these forums, thats how upsetting this choice is.

This decision by Blizzard has Principal Skinner Out of Touch Memes written all over it.

I suggest people @ Aggrend on twitter because he does read all of the tweets that are @ at him.

Since it wasn’t Aggrend or Kaivax posting and some rando named GarnetHound, I am 100% certain he wants nothing to do with this post.

just be glad you guys are free from jesu

Then ask blizzard to open up transfers from CS to CB, not the other way around. Our guild runs two Gnomer raid teams every lockout. We’ve had to pug a decent amount but have always been able to fill spots, even healers. You’re just not trying enough and your problem doesn’t justify screwing over everyone else in the process.

This is absolutely crazy. I love playing on Chaos Bolt and have never had any issues with grouping. I think there should be a choice to go to another server that’s not the most saturated and toxic server out there. Just some choice for us to move to a different server would make this way better.

for a classic dev team bragging about how classic vanilla was community base an now just about forcing a move to a massive server, kinda kills any community. especially when a good amount of players wanted to avoid the streamer toxic fan base.

this is a worse betrayal than the God Hand Eclipse

Yeah I’m not a fan of the huge mega servers with no actual RP and a crowded community. I like actually seeing people I recognize out in the world and it feeling like an actual vanilla server in terms of players.

Hugs all around.

This is a terrible idea, I really wish Blizzard would reverse this decision. I have a 25 Horde on Crusader’s Strike because I wanted to see what the bigger servers were like, and I hated it. If the only way to keep playing with my friends will be to transfer my main and delete my horde characters, I will not be playing in p3.

Give me the option to move my opposite faction characters on Crusader Strike to another server, or make it cross faction.

I would be ok with this but this is not what blizzard decided to do

Edit: I didn’t ask blizzard to fix this but am very thankful they are giving us options

This is a terrible idea. People were happy on Chaos Bolt, but you’ve effectively killed the server overnight. It sucked when it happened to Deviate Delight, and it sucks now.

You’re telling me all I have to do is delete all of my geared Alliance characters and say goodbye to my Alliance guild on Crusader Strike? Then I get free unlimited transfers for my Horde characters on Chaos Bolt so that I can join my Horde guild when they transfer off a dead server? Maybe there were more things to think about here.

Wait, why are they shuttering Chaos Bolt? Population looks totally fine, unless there was a huge exodus in the last week. I’m on Lava Lash, a considerably lower population server, and even it seems perfectly healthy to me.
