Blizzard needs to resolve the Horde and Alliance characters on Crusader Strike issue as well as find a way to let us keep our names.

Hear, hear. I like the comfy population of the server, seeing and interacting with the same people, and it was one of the reasons I picked the server over the much larger Crusader Strike. Ironic that the server I tried avoiding is now the one I’ll be forced to go to.

What terrible news to find out. Chaos Bolt had a great little community, now I guess you can just have more people complaining about terrible layering and lag.

Whats truly disgusting, is the size of CB was very close to launch Grobbulus in the halcyon days of 2020. CS became targeted by streamers because of Grob’s success. But if Grob were around today, it would have been shipped to the glue factory.

Blizzard, Chaos bolt was fine, should be encouraging people from high population servers to move to chaos bolt. The name change is a huge issue for most folks. Allow people to still create characters for Chaos-Bolt

Crusader Strike needs to enable accounts to have characters on both sides to support this merge. Many players on Chaos Bolt rolled alts on CS to maintain ties with the larger RP community, and these alts may have been on the opposite faction. Now, my guild of 18 on Alliance CB can’t all transfer together, because some of us have Horde toons on CS. Forcing folks to re-level and start from scratch does not seem like an ideal solution.

What the hell is blizzard thinking? Are they trying to get people to quit?

Chaos Bolt has almost the perfect population size, if I wanted to play as mega server I would have done that from the beginning.

Sooo I can’t make any characters even if I got some on CB? God damn. I didn’t have much on CB so I was willing to delete to reroll ally but if I do that, can’t make anything. Yikes

Edit: also if you’re gonna do this. PLEASE ENFORCE ROLEPLAY APPROPRIATE NAMES.

Yall letting streamers come to an RP PVP server is what made us scream for Chaos Bolt. At least force people to follow Role-playing server rules that yall neglect to follow during classic with Grobbulus.

Hopefully they implement 3 things:

  1. make it so you can create alliance and horde on CS
  2. ability to xfer off of CS to a less populated server
  3. ability to xfer to another server besides CS from CB

There’s also a HUGE issue when it comes to gold. I make about 5x the amount of gold income on Crusader Strike compared to Chaos Bolt, but I still feel more wealthy on CB than I do on CS. 1g on Chaos bolt is not = to 1g on Crusader Strike.

If you already have characters on CB you can make a new one. I did this morning.
