Went from 60 fps locked down to 15-20 fps after the patch. All addons disabled so its not LUA errors. Why?
1060 6gb i7 7700 16gb ddr4
I always played with my graphics on 10, but now its an unplayable framerate.
Lowering down to 3/10(classic mode) improves framerate drastically. But why am I noticing this difference now?
Edit: WoW is using my CPU’s gpu instead of my Nvidia gpu thats the problem. I’m gonna go into nvidia settings and make it use my GPU again…
Edit2: In game under Menu(ESC)->System->Advanced-> Graphics Card

Yeah same here, I have a huge dip on frame rate after the patch finish and logged on. I can’t seem to get it fix even if I set graphics settings to a 5+ … hope this gets fixed soon…
Try this Menu(esc)->Settings->Advanced. Change from auto detect graphics card to your graphics card.

Thank you so much Zanfet. I logged on this morning and everything was fine. Just tried logging on again and it was going at about 5fps… Your suggestion fixed it. I was really worried for a minute!!
