Found that hammer of light got a 20% stealth nerf in PvP

The only thing I liked about Might was the one minute cooldown. Made it easy to macro it with Final Reckoning and one minute trinket, since it’s all one minute.

But then you switch to Crusade/RG and you can actually feel the difference since it wasn’t nerfed as hard as Might.

Aw might has a healing component. Actual decision making when popping a cd to heal or damage. Just a better talrnt all around compared to crusade that us haste over haste just press and dont care.

Not to mention the extra crit helps with talents that is effected via crit like in herald or rush of light, art of war and heart of the crusader.

Crusade is just way better damage though.

After a build up yeah, not gery good for on demand burst though. It only surpass wrath at 7 stacks in pve, which granted is easy to get to, but in my opinion if your using it with heroism is a few seconds of the raid buff wasted for the full potential damage.

Also as he said, you get no healing increase with crusade, which is a perk with wrath along with the extra crit and reduced cd. RG kinda throws things in a loop with that how ever…

Crit isn’t very useful to pvp’ers. Depending on class played, most people are stacking either mastery or haste (along with vers of course).

After simming it’s a 17k difference between AW and Crusade on a 5 minute Patchwerk which is an absolutely negligible difference when the pool is 1.423M DPS deep.

As far as Radiant Glory is concerned. There’s just nothing worthwhile to even putting that point into but it’s still only a loss of 91k which sits around 1.331M which is still a 80% purple parse on something like Mythic Sikran.

While the information was more available than you knew, I just found out about this today thanks to this thread, so thank you for getting word out. I am not a fan of pvp specific nerfs. If the total package of Ret was close to making it a high performer the forums would be on fire, and it hasn’t been. Doesnt seem like the nerf was warranted as fighting Rets has not been scary at all this expansion and only for 3 days last expansion.

Crit is pvp nerfed so that removes a hefty amount of value from stacking it.

Crit damage, but not it’s effect on talents.

Example you still get the addition DoT for critting on HoW/DS in pvp, and heart will still it’s additional damage on crits.

If aw might was unnerfed it could see play right away because of the healing component of it. It gives the spec actual decision making (like it used to be you either heal or deal damage).

Crusade is just boring to me

Yeah that’s not really accurate at all, I typically hit around 2 - 3.5m in real PvP scenarios against people that are fully geared.

On the PvP Dummy ST I have hit up to 5.1m.
