On the contrary, everyone who actually cares about the game and have been arguing for months for them to fix major bugs that have existed since beta have been flatly ignored.
If the community you’re referring to is the retail community that rerolled and now lives on these boards like a fungus, then I agree they absolutely have ruined the game

Pretty much every forum. In terms of a community at large, nobody actively reads forums and if they do they’re more likely to use Reddit.
I still get laughs going to GD on Retail and watching all the pathfinder whine threads claim that “THE MAJORITY OF PLAYERS HAS SPOKEN, WE DON’T LIKE PATHFINDER!” and it’s always the same 20 people jerking each other off and flagging any posts or dogpiling those who disagree with them.
Meanwhile it’s like “If it was truly the majority of the game had a problem with it, it wouldn’t still exist for going on four expansions now. Clearly the majority of players don’t think of it as a problem.”
forums = cancerous crying from vocal minority, and the toxicity from others trolling them.
Eh, IDK. What else is there to really do in the situation? You aren’t really talking to actual people so much as an angry rabble devoid of any reasoning or rational thought. So when you try to talk to them with a different perspective they just don’t want to hear it and shut you out. I’d be like trying to have sex with a wall. You might be able to get the job done but you’re going to lose interest far before you make any actual progress toward what you want to achieve.
At that point it’s just like “Why not troll them instead?” You’re going to reach the same end where they just discount what you say, but you get to actually have fun doing it.
I’m not saying it’s a bad thing, because I’m incredibly guilty of the same.
The forums never actually represent the majority. People only come here when they are pissed off most of the time. If a game entertains you, why would you spend your time on an internet forum when you could be playing that game instead?
Anyways, that’s why you see many posts about things like not being able to play the game. If they feel like they can’t or something takes too much time, they come here.

What’s it to you? It’s their $15. How do you know they’re hardly playing the game? They might have the forums up on a 2nd monitor or using their phone. Multitasking is a thing.
How do you know how much time they spend here unless you’re here too? So for you to “know” all of this you must be the same as what you’re complaining about…

Well i would direct those people to just google themselves a map, ask other people (cause i sure as hell don’t know where any of the places are) or suggest a couple of addons.
It’s strange, to me, to post on the forum you complain about the members of the forum for using the forum.

No one ranking hard or pushing logs in a top guild has any of the problems that these weak children cry about here.
The people making these threads about unsubbing and how everythings a failure are just no-name casual players in social guilds who can’t even finish leveling.
Compared to the skill level and coordination of real guilds…I’d argue that none of these kids are really even playing classic.
Idk but I am just leveling myself, and am ultra casual. Yes it will be frustrating when i hit 50s but bgs will be out by then and the ganking won’t be as prevalent. I’m not demanding that blizzard incorporate server transfers
