I spend more time in the forums than in-game, because I really don’t care for Shadowblands.
In the forums, I can exchange ideas with a broader audience of the player base, the while playing the game.
Even though the forums get dismissed as a “toxic cesspool”, I have found plenty of content that engages me.
Another factor that keeps me coming back for more, is the fact that it is not an echo chamber. There’s always room for discourse and discussion.
I know it’s far from perfect, and it can be messy. But then again, so is real life.

Both the forums and game are awful. This forum shows the true color on what to expect to experience for a lot of people end game.
As you can see above, I can’t quote his posts because I’ve ignored/muted him. He can freely tell me to put body parts in my mouth, rage at me to delete my account and it’s fine.
At most he’ll get banned for a couple hours. This company is a joke and they encourage this kind of behavior. I’m sick of it. I’m sick of these types of people. They’ve ruined the game for everyone.
I’m angry I spend so much money, and I’m angry I put so much time into this game… Just to see that I was supporting pigs.
90% of the WoW community is trash and fit right in with this company.

im playing and working at the same time (WFH, IT job) i dont always get the time to concentrate on the game, but also dont much work coming in, i can keep a forum window open without disturbing my work ability
