Why do we need to add in personal details for? Just use our BattleTags. Don’t need a repeat of a bad idea back then with using RealID.

And yet, people can still hide behind alt accounts. Some people do not use there actual details on their Blizzard account, as witnessed at times on Customer Support forums when people came with information of there entire Battle.net account has had action taken against it for exactly that.

You aren’t required to verify with your identification when creating a new Battle.net account.

Thank you for arguing against your support of having people use their account names.

Difference between your BattleTag and your RealID is as clear as day and night:

BattleTags are not private information, but more of like an accound identity to identify the Blizzard account. Like how Microsoft has the GamerTag for XBox Live.

RealID involves personal information.
