Giving a more nuanced morality to a race that was basically just comically evil up to this point for the most part is not a bad thing. Sylvanas had to go for the Forsaken to improve narratively as a race because their whole identity up to that point was “My life for the Banshee Queen!”
I don’t know if Calia was the best choice (And we don’t even know if she’s going to be the leader, do we?) but we’ll have to wait and see.
Also, what does the Adams family have to do with anything? Lol
