Forsaken, How do you feel now?

I’m sure it’s already been asked but I’m gonna ask again myself, how are the Forsaken holding up/feeling about Sylvanas/ “The Dark Lady” now? Is she still worthy of that title and respect to you?

I know I’m prancing around here on a male blood elf rogue, but Undeads are really my favorite race, I got like 5 or 6 of them as my alts and they’re all decent levels compared to my other race alts. (Actually my DK is undead and was my main till i switched to this rogue in legion for some reason.)

I’m Forsaken at heart, and here’s how I feel about everything:

I was okay with the tree burning down, I was okay with fighting without honor, but the fact she destroyed Undercity, one of my favorite cities in the game for obvious reasons, crossed a line for me.

She’s not my Warcheif anymore. I don’t need her to watch over me either. Betraying her own people and her own kind set me over the edge. Waiting for Surafang and Thrall to come back and make the new horde or something. Or, us Forsaken take our business on our own and break away from the horde and Sylvanas’s rule.

How do you guys feel about it? Of course non-forsaken opinions and Alliance opinions are also welcomed here as well.

Lich Queen. I race changed my only Undead into a Blood Elf after 6 years. That’s how I feel.

Now that you mention it yeah shes kinda doing the same thing Arthas was.

I’m not 100% with the lore but didn’t they have a fling or something? Don’t tell me she’s leading the horde on a broken heart.

I’m good thanks for asking

I have a forsaken, and 8-9 alts and they al answer the same as they are all me… She is my warchief and a half baked, rushed story line has destroyed her as a character for anything more than sacrificing… for reasons.

But even then she is the leader of the horde, and as such demands loyalty, as for the honor crew, well they are traitors.

It works the same way IRL too, if the US bombed another country and someone undermined the president by acts that went against the attack, guess what happens to them?

She is my Queen and savior first, my Warchief second. I would still be under the Lich King’s control were it not for her and for that I owe her my eternal loyalty.

As a player I truly believe she has the best interest of the Forsaken at heart. The current poor writing doesn’t change fourteen plus years’ of actions to better the state of her people in the world.

I’m not even Undead and I’m still Team Sylvanas.

Weird to say but oddly missing Garrosh. While both were terrible (Garrosh by MoP and Sylvanas now) at least Garrosh was on the side of the living. And he forbade the use of Blight which kills everything. I’m part of that everything! And the killing of Horde soldiers and then raising them after against their will? Pre-BfA I was fine with her. At this point she just needs to go. Maybe it’s time the Blood Elves lead the Horde. Lady Liadrin would do a better job than ole dead Sylvie any day.

She took people who were killed then raised as mindless scourge, people who broke free from the scourge and then were forsaken by their friends and families, no Alliance faction would take them. She banded these undead together, established a home for them (which was their own land to begin with), and took care of them. She always put her own people first.

Newly raised undead had a choice to join the Forsaken, go their own way or return to death. She has been a calculating and intriguing character since the beginning.

Everything written since BFA has made her into an impulsive dictator with seemingly no plan. Bliz has her acting out of character to progress a horrible plot line.

This is all my opinion and I know this discussion has been beaten to death on the forums.

TLDR: Give me back my original Banshee Queen!

thank you for saying exactly how i feel about the whole thing.

So you dont mind Baine and Surfang blatantly betraying the horde but you are upset Sylvanas stopped the alliance from retaking the undercity. Geee some hordies seem like they would rather play alliance

The sylvanas arc of BFA is extremely, EXTREMELY, lazy writing on blizzards part.

I’m loving it. Sylvanas is a prime example of Machiavellian principles. My complaint is the writers have made her seem stupid. She was always cunning and cruel, but with plausible deniability. If you have somehow turned against Sylvanas, you have fallen for the bad writing this expansion.

It seems like Undead should be a lot more concerned that Sylvanas’s actions led to Undercity’s destruction. That was their home, in life and in death. And yet the vast majority of Undead posters cackle in glee at it’s destruction, and the deaths of their own soldiers by her hand, just to spite the Alliance.

I for one never gave a rats behind about claiming Lordaeron intact, and would’ve been happy to wipe it off the face of the planet with the Vindicaar’s guns. As far as I’m concerned, the Lich Queen just saved us some munitions.

Do forsaken actually even feel anything?

I keep throwing rocks at them and they don’t even flinch. I’m about to toss my hatchet next.

She has betrayed us and all we stand for by raising new Foresaken and denying them free will. That is everything we fought against with Arthas.

Now where is little gnome with cookies?
