Forsaken heritage set should be scrapped

No. It looks great and can easily be mixed and matched with the Darkshore Warfront armor, same with Night Elf.

I don’t know, I think the armor is stunning. It makes me want to play a forsaken.

I don’t think it needs to be scrapped completely, but what’s up with the sinstone? What do Venthyr sinstones have to do with the Forsakens’ heritage?

Other than that, I like it. I don’t play undead anymore, but many years of my life were dedicated to the race. Not sure how I feel about it all in all.

I’m being told that it is supposed to be a coffin, but

Just because you played a warlock in vanilla and have all your Forsaken memories tied to that character doesn’t mean every Forsaken should be forced to wear a robe for their heritage armor.

Hopefully they have a few variations like Humans got, so everyone can get something they associate with the race and be content.

This was obvious the minute I tried to make the nightborne heritage work on a hunter. It doesn’t. That set is made for casters only. It kinda sucks that the blood elf heritage set works on all classes because it has two versions AND they get their own paladin specific set while my warlock who is undead is getting
this.

No, that’s where they store their gnomes for when they need a little pick-me-up.

They had the same kind of thing for the human set, I guess it’s to symbolize the different classes/aspects of Forsaken society but it does look a bit
 odd.

My big complaint is that the hood and the chestpiece don’t seem to go together, and the leggings and boots could use a little more unity. It could be worse.

That was never a reason given nor did I say it had to be a robe :dracthyr_shrug:

Curious what reason you have though for why Forsaken heritage should be a hodgepodge of basically the Horde Warfront Armour with an Alchemist belt, an Ugly skirt thing with the Lordaeron logo on it and a Gnome Sized coffin?

I’m not in love with the backpack but I like the rest of it. That will looks great on a couple of my Forsaken.

Surprisingly, I have more than one (that I barely play, if I’m honest).

I’m not entirely sure what “heritage” means for Forsaken. As a race they’ve existed for ~30 in-universe years? Could be Lordaeron Human, could be Freed Scourge, could be whatever the LK-era “revamp” of their architecture/towns ended up being.

Hodgepodge might not be far off considering they don’t have a very deep history like the other core races, or even some of the ARs. Thats why I’m hoping what’s been shown is just one of 3 variations, like Humans got. Perhaps the other variations will be more succint in their appearances.

It needs a robe option for caster, I liked because it’s similar to the Acolytes from Warcraft 3 but it’s missing that robe option.

The Forsaken are the People of Lordaeron who have been around for a lot longer then 30 years which is what I think they should of pulled from, alternatively with Forsaken they’ve always been associated with Alchemy even literally having a sorta organisation of Alchemists so coulda gone a mad Alchemist set.

Instead they decided to do a little bit of everything and resulted in a messy hodgepodge that doesn’t match.

Also, you’re wasting your time in GD, if you care about feedback there’s a ptr sub forum

I already did a thread about the Heritage armor and story that should be present from a Forsaken player point of view, At least for me as main Warlock, I just want a Robe option with the Lordaeron symbol.

Maybe you can suggest your ideas / changes but at the end Cosmetics are a matter of subjective opinion.

Look a gift horse in the mouth much?

But I like the Forsaken Armor the Way it is now. What’s wrong with the way it is.

Apothecaries and alchemists are not the same thing.

Like the Stormwind Human set, I feel like it’s pretty hard to narrow down the specific race fantasy.

Some people wanna look really metal and edgy, with spikes and skulls and poison vials and gas masks and stuff. Basically embracing the plague-making Forsaken.

I think other people want a more reserved Forsaken Heritage armor, like something that reflects the Fall of Lordaeron rather than something very Scourge-looking.

The Forsaken that broke away from the Scourge, and want to retain their human-ness, or what’s left of it.

You can’t really please both groups at once, at least for now.

Maybe when they add Forsaken Paladins, whenever they get to it (you have to remember Tyr himself died in Tirisfal, so the link is there) they’ll probably get some more Lordaeron-looking stuff.

I just hope they have some neat recolors, maybe one that is white and blue like what Lordaeron’s colors used to be.

Though I think the set could be better, your ideas are just lame. Vulpera players, everyone.

I wish it were more armored than leathery/clothy and I’m not a fan of carrying a coffin around on your back. Idk the whole coffin on back thing is ew to me.

The Lorderon waist thing is really cool though.

Nah the heritage set is fine. I dig it.

Thanks Blizz.

It don’t look that bad. Don’t like the back piece, but it does seem pretty average in terms of armor sets.
