You son of a witch, I’m in.
I’m unironically in. I’m a VA, start the project and you got yourself a voice to narrate the text or voice characters.

In general you’d think they’d do more street level stories told in Orgrimmar. It’s basically “What if New York but it was founded by Klingons”. You could set everything from a gritty crime drama to a light hearted rom com there if you wanted.
Maybe a Cops parody called Grunts where the thin green line has to respond to everything from a drunken domestic dispute outside a vulpera caravan to a Forsaken apothecary trying to talk his way out’ve blatant drug dealing to a Shaldorei sorcerer who’s on a bad storm dust trip, threatening to polymorph anyone who gets too close.
I am BEGGING YOU to write all of those. I will do the narration and edit the audios. Just give me the texts, man.
I mean look me up on Discord at benediktion. or Benediktion#2483 and I’d be up for figuring something out.
I’m a little confused how that username system works.
Request sent, ghost inbound
You know I felt a bit silly asking for something as small as teeth and ears.
But then Blizzard comes out giving the humans customizable ears.
Again just friendly reminder this is the most visually diverse faction with canonical members who range from completely spectral phantoms to giant flesh golems to skeletons to maybe sapient gargoyles.
Why have that be reflected at all?
I want to be a skeleman 100% most.
But.
If I couldn’t be a skeleman, I would accept being a ghostlimensch.
I need to be more careful about my absurd jokes.
Apollo is very generous with the power of prophecy
I’m genuinely surprised they haven’t added an option where they just change the forsaken head to be a skeleton cause the rest of the body is basically already just a skeleton if you use that option. I would definitely play a skeleton forsaken.
After DKs were a thing I always figured if they ever put necromancers in, they could do it as a questline in say, Maldraxxus or Scholomance, whatever–basically, you do the questline and after it’s done, you have the option of making a new warlock character which functionally would play exactly like a warlock, but with different visuals. Kind of a lazy way to do it but it’s Blizzard and you can’t set the bar too high, but that’d remove the headache of adding in another entirely separate class. Tbh when I heard “hero talents”, I figured that it would be something like that–mostly an optional set of cosmetics.
Speaking of cosmetics though I get where Mawthorne is coming from in terms of silhouette but I do think it’s possible to convey the same sense of menace with an upright posture. I absolutely love the Forsaken animations and the energy they give off, but they did a decent enough job with the Orcs.
It’s 2024 and still no forsaken beards nor liches.
This would be a really cool idea, although couldn’t they just add a glyph that changes the way the class looks? Rather than having to pick it at character creation.
That’s like saying that all Human characters should have pale skin.
Personally I think the Forsaken could stand for an expansion of body types over all, add dwarven, gnome, and high elf body types. There’s precedent in the last two as the Undercity did have an undead gnome and Sylvana’s Dark Rangers.
Sure, but I kinda figured with something like that you’d want the choice to feel like it mattered a lot more than just “rub the glyph on, rub the glyph off”. A warlock isn’t a necromancer, though I’m sure there’s some examples in the lore where the line gets blurred–I just feel like it would make the choice feel watered down and inconsequential if it’s just a glyph.
Necrolytes are warlock necromancers
No. It’s not at all. Saying I have a preference for the original deliberate design decisions over the customization features people want is nothing like saying all humans should have light skin. Especially because there were plenty of dark skin options.
Just going to drop this here. ALL races deserve MORE options. Do it Blizzard!
