I spent about an hour trying to snag this NPC on Atiesh last night at 2am. I kept thinking it was just me, or maybe there were a lot more players around than I thought and I just missed it.
I never saw anything so much as a corpse or any of the adds and if the spawn was being that closely camped by others I thought that I’d at least be able to find a corpse once in a while but there was no sign whatsoever of the courier or the adds.
i’m playing on remulos server and have been sitting at Go’Shek farm for over 90 minutes so far and have not seen this npc and his cronies yet.
I am assuming that something has prevented the respawn from taking place which suggests unless fixed he may not come back untill next downtime?
I’ve ended up dropping the quest and moving on to other zones for now. Arathi feels wrong with no roving pack of danger to run around. Perhaps not as iconic as Stitches on the road in Duskwood, but just one of those things that made you need to keep an eye out.
Another couple hours wasted Blizz. Confirm one way or another so people aren’t speculating anymore.
Spent over an hour waiting for him and his guards to spawn. We checked the roads first between the farm and Tauren Mill the quest mob was not up. kinda disappointed that this much of my Sunday was wasted waiting for this mob to spawn, and I will have to try again another night.
Same here, also spent about 4 hours total running the entire road with a group and by myself. Nothing. Hoping this current server maintenance will fix it.
spent about 90 min looking yesterday and early this morning. finally spawned near the farm after server reset.
I went back again last night. Immediately saw courier corpse in the road. Ran up and picked up the quest, then ran back to the road just in time to catch the Courier and their fan club spawn and snagged it. Little bit later after the escort I saw it spawn again for someone else.
Have read that the group may spawn in response to someone picking up the quest and this might have worked for me now that the spawn seems to be working again in general. Previously when I drop/picked up the quest it never spawned anything so no idea if it’s something that works for a while and then gets bugged.
Group of us have been trying this for 3 hours. No spawn. Guess im going to drop and move on . could have leveled in the time wasted.
Mankrik server here. I have looked for this courier for over 4 hours on and off. A group of 3 of us spend over 2 hours going up and down the road and waiting at the the house. There was no body anywhere and it never spanwed. Everyone I talk to on Mankrik says they never were able to complete it.
I believe this is a bug if you just kill the mob and not the patrol they are with they will never respawn until you kill the patrol that roams with them. It has happened to me in badlands with the ogre for tremors of the earth.
I tried again last night. Picked up the quest and ran to the house and the 4 guards and the courier just spawned and started walking down the road. This was after a server reset so I think something glitches this quest out over time. You can easily kill the courier if you have some shielding and loot it if you do not want to kill the guards.
Yes you can but if you kill just the courier he wont respawn. But the guards will keep patrolling.
It can bug if not all of the Forsaken Bodyguards are killed. Right now I am standing inside the hit box of one that is on evade at 78.34, 54.2 in Hillsbrad Foothills on my toon Mooshandrari-Pagle. My husband had been camping for the Forsaken Courier for Hints of a New Plague for over an hour before I hopped on and found the bugged bodyguard. Best bet is to wait for server reset… Tried submitting a ticket, but apparently that is also bugged >.<
I just saw and beat the courier today. So, if it was glitched it has been fixed.
