I am in a forever falling cycle. Cannot log out. When I time out… I log back in and resume the falling. Help please.
I clicked the boat transport option in Paw’don Village in The Jade Forest in Pandaria. I was transported to high above the Horde offensive. I am falling onto the beach (it looks very shallow - I’d surely die?). When at about 50 yards up… I restart from higher up.
Over and over. Please help or suggest how to resolve. Thanks
Reply. Thanks. Coincidentally I came to the same conclusion - It’s as though I’m falling through the world, only this time I can see the world. I just now found the character stuck service and I was able to force quit through that.
Many thanks for the very prompt reply. Wow!
Edit: Ahhh it didn’t work. But I was still logged in. I’m going to wait until I get timed out/disconnected and then try the character stuck/move service while I’m logged out.
Edit: I tried to move my character while logged out - I force quit my Windows session and waited about 30s. I was given a “success” message and I expected to be at a graveyard. Logged back in and… still falling.
Edit: I’m now locked out of character moves for 8 hours. Not happy
Edit: Finally resolved. Another player got stuck too. We chatted. He did Time Walking and then summoned me. @Berrythicc you are a champ!
Thanks mate. Yeah I was surprised to see myself locked out for 8 hours. A warning to at least ensure I was really logged out before trying would have been better. Thankfully another person got trapped in the cycle with me. It never crossed my mind to queue / get summoned etc.
Here I am at level 52 wandering around Dragon Isles picking off flight points until I get sick of that antic lol.
I apologize that this is four hours since you posted this, but just as a by the by for you and anyone else who trips over this thread in the future?
There is an NPC by the Oribos flight path, Au’Dara, that sells all sorts of Shadowlands catch-ups. One of the things sold is a toy that teaches you the Shadowlands’ flight paths around the four main zones.
