Blizz should merge all characters to one of each server type. pve, pvp, and rp. Use that famous layering everyone loves

Then delete all the other servers. So turn 12 servers down to 3-4

open seasonal 1 year to 16 months classic vanilla and tbcc servers. Classic forever No change servers. (pve, pvp, rp)
and new fresh Added Qol changes servers for also a forever seasonal server.

after the 1 year or 16 months… merge all characters to original 3-4 servers and repeat with a new… so in reality we are back to 9-12 servers and all are getting used not abandoned. Classic servers can live forever or until blizz goes bankrupt.

hope same thing for WotLK in the near future

Than both Some changes and NO changes can always play how they want.

sounds like it’d not add any new value without this service being charged for separately.

classic era will shut down because they dont have cash shops in it. They want it to die in my opinion, its the only explanation i can think of that explains not giving us free transfer / merging servers / cloning refund/ selling wow rights to someone else / etc…

They can’t do that. It would eat into the transfer character income. Can’t justify that to the shareholders.

They have effectively done this, more or less, but with 6 server clusters.

The Diablo style ladder seasons seem like fun.
