I don’t even look at the mount in df, I hop on, get to where I’m going, and done. What I do miss is Hover and it needs to come back.

They’ll add regular flying for the boomers and then they’ll complain regular flying is too slow and the damn kids using dragon riding are getting places too fast.

The mounts are highly customizable and I expect that not only more dragon riding mounts will be introduced over time but that flying mounts will be adapted to the new flight system over time. Or at least I hope so.

In all likely hood hopefully (and probably) will be a toggle sorta like Visage form etc.
Better than waiting 12-18months for normal flying.

Open up dragonflying to all mounts. ALL OF THEM. INCLUDING GROUND MOUNTS!

I do miss my gmod
It looks to be using a modified version of the Heart of the Aspect mount. The main downside to this mount would be that it would have been too difficult to do the dragon races on since the mount would cover up the majority of your screen.
I live in North America, so walking to China alone isn’t possible, but if you’re willing to allow a brief flight or boat trip across the Bering Strait…
Despite what the dragonriders like to say on these forums, almost certainly flying mounts, as opposed to DR mounts, will be enabled in this expansion. Going forward, if DR has a future beyond this expansion, I expect both types of mounts to be disabled at the start of the next expansion.
That being said, I will no longer be subbing or buying expansions until flying mounts are enabled for a given expansion. I am tired of this twaddle and Blizzard’s excuses. From now on, no money until I get flying. I would rather not play than walk or use DR.

Doesn’t mean much, to me at least. Dragonriding is way more efficient. Who’s going to want to fly at a fraction of the speed? Its going to feel like going from a jet to an commercial airliner.
