If they’re only designed to suck money from me they sure have been a failure in that regard. And btw which systems are too complicated for you? Maybe I can explain it to help you better understand.
Newflash: Not all players are min/maxers, AOTC freaks, or drama trolls.
Most players don’t look at this as a job, either. Even when I did raid, I never felt forced (by Blizzard) to spend gold or cash to do so. That was a demand put on by the playerbase; by tools like Vin - who think that their accomplishment in a video game makes them better than everyone else.
I don’t think that’s really what he’s saying here. It’s more about the meta being forced.
If you have to buy carries then you aren’t competitive anyway. If you were competitive you’d have people that would help you for free. lol
Generally speaking, winning at the game means failing at life.
no you do not have to level form scratch anymore. every expansion is its own level of professions now 1-wahtever it is. so all u would have to do is train the shadowlands profession and level that. youd get to skip all the previous xpacks.
Can someone explain to me what 1 irrelevant item this refers to?
You know you can only equip one legendary, right, so you’re not running around in legendarIES.
They have 14 alts to equip, and then their wife’s, 12 kids because all WoW players have 12 kids…
That adds up!
I didn’t. Thanks for the info!
no I’m glad you’re having a good time picking herbs.
but I deal in the herb market a lot and I have a hard time believing you made 250,000 gold on herbs that you picked one night.
that would be like 35 stacks of 200 of the most expensive herbs on my realm.
that said I agree with you that it is easy enough to make money and that the problem is that it’s the first week of a crafted legendary being up in the auction house so it’s going to be ridiculously expensive. that’s how the auction house works.
Simple answer: Yes I do know why you used the word force… because you don’t know the meaning of force.
Just because you decided that the definition of pay 2 win means something other than what it does… doesn’t make you correct.
You should be equally baffled when people come in and use terms they do not know the meaning of… and even more comically is when they insist their definition is correct… when it isn’t.
Ok so at this point you play your hand and expose that this wasn’t a serious discussion… just a place for you to come and temper tantrum and insult other posters.
Nope… it isn’t.
The funny thing is, this is the expac that made me decide to never spend money on WoW again, and instead get everything with gold.

To be fair to the OP, in his original post he did write:
 Vincerus:
Vincerus:Blizz is forcing players to buy 100s of dollars in gold in order to be competitive this patch…
And there are competitive guilds that require their members to be all decked out in the latest and greatest in order to earn their place in the raid.
Does that mean the people have to buy tokens to earn the gold to buy the base item, technically no, but I could see how Blizzard recognized that there is a certain % of highly competitive people who would spend money on tokens in order to get the item they need. Especially if the person has stuff to do in RL and only has a limited amount of time to play.
I know that I had originally planned on crafting the items, until I realized how many mats I’d have to farm to rank them up and realized I didn’t have time to do that (of course, I guess I could have bought tokens and buy all the mats off of the AH… oh wait… …
 …
They will drastically drop in price within the next 2 weeks. People make the items cost so much because the cutting edge players will spend that much for the small head start. If you arent competing for world first, i dont think your guild will lose their mind if you dont have the highest level legendary on the first week of raiding this patch.
i was agreeing with you but ok be a wang about it
If you’re going to be forced to buy gold, better do it quickly. The gold you get per token is falling.
Blizzard lost over 30% of its mau, it’s bleeding customers they have no choice but to extract the last amount of profits while running it into the ground
