I want you both to tell me right now that a priest playing mid map without binding death and face tanking cc vs a high cc comp wouldn’t experience that same situation today.
Let’s start from the top.
Mid map, sandwiched between priest & mage, hard casting a clone on priest. Everyone knows you get feared the opposite way, in this case it was down the ramp. Terrible positioning and awareness from Hydra here.
Druid gets a free clone on Jelly, triple x cc, they follow up with a blanket CS on hydra. Hydra then walks to the BASE of the ramp, in direct LOS of the incoming clone from Druid. (Clone & fear do not DR). He could’ve walked along the line and been out of LoS. Not like he’s healing.
Mage starts hard casting a sheep, fakes it, and recasts it in Hydra’s face who turns as he applies a shield to Bean (lol?) has death available. Eats full sheep.
Jelly silences the priest with 4s left on the sheep, and Hydra gets half sheeped, priest standing on top of them in a clone, sees bean leap over to bash the rdruid, and trinkets for a double fear. They end up losing the game.
Jelly, Bean and Hydra gap me at this game, but that cc chain could’ve been stopped 5 different ways, and all of them did the wrong stuff.
Acting like that’s somehow unplayable and bad game design when it’s literally repeat punishment of poor positioning is hilarious.
If anything that’s the exact type of situation that SHOULD happen to people positioning that awfully vs high caliber players.
You stand mid map vs Kalv Curn & Ceral while scuffing every stop and stacking for double fears and I bet you aren’t playing your class either.
Why are the DRs a problem here? They had ways to stop all of it.
Presumably through the use of Barkskin, idr if they had true wall back then, frenzied, roar of sac, hunter pet heal (do they have that or only spirit beast?) dispersion he got from symbiosis and the fact that there is not an ms on the enemy team.
Should it be possible? Nah. I think it was also probably HotW although idr if it’s available in mop so could be wrong, mighta been a wod ability
Edit*
No HotW, might of ursoc used but no wall and no pet heal . Rest is correct
im just trying to get ready for mop classic and its huge grind. im level 54 warrior so far but yeah leveling has never been my forte. its like going back to collage and expecting to know everything. yeah no. youll never get your degrees when its 100 degrees outside. also how many of you have even been to collage? thats the real question! right boys?! i wanna say a majority of the posters on here have never even visited a collage or uni.
You’re not alone—Mists of Pandaria Classic is going to be a grind and a half, especially if you’re trying to get prepped ahead of the rush. That 1–60 push before Chromie Time ends is no joke, and leveling a Warrior? That’s some real “pain for glory” energy right there. Respect.
Also, your “college vs. collage” joke? Chef’s kiss. A+ internet forum post energy. You’re not wrong either—MMOs attract all kinds: students, grads, dropouts, and plenty of people who think a collage is just what you make with glue and old magazines. And yeah, trying to grind through quests while your room feels like the surface of Mars? That’s some mental fortitude.
If leveling is your weak spot, here are a few quick tips to smooth the process a bit:
Dungeon spam with a good group – Warriors shine in dungeons. Find a healer buddy, tank or DPS, and grind it out.
Heirlooms or XP buffs – Stack every % bonus you can (Darkmoon Faire, War Mode, anniversary events if active).
Quest hubs over scattered quests – Don’t chase XP across continents. Stick to efficient zones like Felwood, Burning Steppes, or even try out Threads of Fate if you’re into alt leveling (though it’s different depending on expansion rules in Classic).
Set goals – Hit a level per session or something small. MoP prep is a marathon, not a sprint.
And hey, if you need to vent or theorycraft specs for your Warrior when MoP Classic hits, I got you. Just say the word.
Stay hydrated, king. You’re earning your (virtual) degree in Azeroth.
Mop classic of course. I think it’s dead in the water on retail I’ll always remember cheering for Bruce as he mangled male dw frost worgens that back-pedaled and male draenei paladins with helms showing.
Yeah you cant do anything with it right now, but apparently they’re going to be bringing back for evergreen content (like it originally should have been) but the last time I heard about that was like 8 months ago.
It was a pretty cool idea to be able to do.
And it’s really what I wished the actual dueler’s guild would have been as well
