I understand completely. I wouldn’t want anyone else to play anything other than Lich King either. That means less people playing my version which leads to less queues, poorer AH economy, etc.

Nope after WOTLK there is nothing left of “Classic wow” Mop is still in the game. The only thing that has changed are classes and even then its not even by that much.
My preferred version would be classic plus and i dont think im alone. Classic plus will happen whether you like it or not. They will release cata or MOP and it will be dead on arrival and blizz will need something and classic plus will be there. Its already worked with runescape and to say its “my version” is pretty weak when plenty of people like classic wow and its not “My” game its classic wow. Good try though,

I was a huge advocate for the OSRS servers for years on the official RS forums, and you bet there were quite a few forum trolls who were against it. They’d make up the most random arguments “have fun hitting zeroes” or “that walk from Lumbridge to Varrock is real fun”. When the vote for OSRS passed, they openly admitted to voting no just to vote no, and said they would log in to OSRS just to vote no to future content updates. They’re just terrible people who are the actual anti social ones themselves.
Imagine not wanting a feature just because someone else does want it.

In Cata, only Dragon Soul had the option for LFR. In WotLK, every single dungeon in the game was part of LFD. You can’t even compare the two.

I mean you can. LFR came in the end of the xpac and LFD came at the end of the xpac. “Classic” wow means lots of things to different people but to blizzard they have stated that they think that group finders are not in the spirit of classic. So yea they are comparable completely.
I mean i dont care if they add it to WOTLK or not because i wont be doing raiding of Dungeons. I am just pointing out that I personally dont think LFD was a good addition to the game regardless of whether or not it was added in the final patch of WOTLK or not. Blizz seems to agree with me that its not in the classic spirit either, so there is that to back it up. I think that feature did more damage to the game than it did good.
But yea if they added LFR or LFD to WOTLK i couldnt care less because im not going to pve in WOTLK because i already did it, however i am pointing out my opinion on that feature.
Classic+ is a pipedream. MoP > Classic+
Couldnt care less about it being added or not. But you cant tell me that the pro lfd crowd isnt the most obnoxious here. When I compare anti vs pro based on forums all I see is that the pro ones ignore everything the anti ones bring as arguments and put it as if they wouldnt exist nor had any argument to begin with and also scream threatening to cancel their subs.
Its literally the same like 7 people on both sides here and both brought as many good and bad arguments for any side, yet the pro crowd acts like they never said anything and on top of that comes up with made up %'s to somehow justify their reasoning of being rude to others and pushing their believe when no one has any numbers but the company itself.
It’s because the anti RDF arguments are all silly.

How, you can still talk in the dungeon inside RDF, you can still form a group with people on your server, in your guild and on your friends list. All that is being replaced is the initial whisper of “hunter LFG” then being ignored or invited. You can still talk inside the dungeons, RDF isn’t muting you all inside the dungeon.
“It teleports you to the dungeon”.

Yes the people on small servers would also like to do dungeons, ontop of that you can still que with your server if you want, nothing is stopping you from doing a full premade.

No that’s when it was developed and implemented to fix the dungeon issues back then, which were a huge issue.
These are the majority of the arguments and they have all been debunked. RDF is better for the game PERIOD.

Its not an anti social feature. Its people are not social in the game because being social isnt being efficient.
But… People quitting over it being added or not is pretty freaking mind numbing. Like these are not the people the game needs.

What disgusting is this started with me begging for blackfathom depths for 3 days no hits…then came up with a solution.
You see sub 55…unless you want dungeons in the common leveling tour your are SOL. Not many of their own free will do the SW to menethil death march sub 30. Boat to auberdine (relog btw…that boat at this point is messed up and desynced all the time, relog fixes that) to then walk to ashenvale to blackfathom on the coast…
and I’d not blame them. MInes and stockade are real close. I don’t ponder hard on why its here 99.99999% of alliance levels 15 to 30.
so like its like a pop tart…once you opened the pack may was eat them both lol.

LFR is a difficulty setting and a group finder. In 4.3 only DS had this option. LFD is a group finder only. The difficulty level stays the same. In 3.3 every single dungeon in the game could be queued for with LFD. That is the difference.

Literally nobody, and I mean nobody has advocated for or even mentioned the existence of looking for raid in any of these threads. It was and always will be an abomination.
We all know TBC is overflowing with dungeon guilds. Just 3 tanks carrying an entire 50 man roster on their back, haven’t needed anything from a dungeon in years. But, they got you, cause community.
I have no skin in this fight as I’m not playing wrath regardless, but… I feel like this is a pot calling the kettle black moment.
