For the love of WoW, no more Alleria

Can you cite a source about that please.

It’s sarcasm…

And yet people will think it is truth…

sounds like the name of a medication to me. may cure one thing. Gives you like 16 side effects one of which is death.

“But these sniffles are really bothering me, screw it.”

The choice was, keep up the fight against Xal’atath and let Dimensius destroy all of reality or put the fight aside for a moment while we deal with the top threat.

What would a victory over Xal’atath have meant if there was no more reality?

None!! Should be a horde character to get things done.

That’s not legal

Yeah, agreed. If you write a gay character, for example, a certain political demographic is definitely going to screech and cry about it. It’s really annoying some people get very offended over nothing.

Be honest though: almost no characters in WoW are well-written, male or otherwise. The difference being they previously just leaned into the cartoon-level cheesiness with their male characters so it’s funny/hilarious/entertaining, and they try to make the female characters serious and dramatic.

WoW has never had a great story, with a very few exceptions (Suramar was good). They should go back to what they are good at and not try to do deep-dive drama. It’s not their strong point and never was. And yes, that includes WOTLK - it was ham-fisted cheese, but at least it was fun ham-fisted cheese.

Whoever they replace her with would be twice as boring.

They have a serious problem introducing new characters. They’re quickly forgotten and left to die in the cold (Yrel) or they’re over-used, under-cooked, and people grow sick of them (Alleria, Sylvanus). They were kinda cooking with Nathanos, but we got the most unsatisfying end to him ever.

mmmmm xalatoes

Anyone except the other Windrunners, had enough of their entire family for 1 lifetime.

No more Alleria means no more Sylvanas. Both are over exposed.

I feel the same way.

“Do you have the SLIGHTEST idea how LITTLE that narrows it down!?!?”

Because that pretty much sums up the majority of Female-Alliance-characters in all honesty :joy: lol

I think we should have all the major characters just get killed off in a final destiny fashion for literally no reason.

do not introduce new characters to lead unless they are off the screen for 99.9% of the story quests. they can’t write compelling characters, just leave us to our own devices. go back to mini side stories with one off characters and relatively low stakes so you can actually have some creative interactions outside of “they’re going to destroy the world we have to stop them”

How about all three at the same time?

I dont understand this at all.

So her master, whom she trusted all these years, told her Xal’atath was the only way we could stop Dimensius and save the universe, and despite protesting, and even telling her master he disappointed her, she set aside her hatred for the sake of the universe.

And this makes her a bad character? So a good character is being dumb and put her rage and emotions unchecked before the universe?

Noting that she never, ever trusted Xal’atath at all, she just had absolutely no other choice. Her master decided to help, Ve’nari decided to help, the champion of Azeroth, slayer of Warcraft deities decided to help.

This following line is not directed to you, but I think people complain for complaining before even stopping a bit to at least think what they are complaining about.

I am pretty sure if she stormed off and didn’t help us at all people would be saying she is childish and throwing tantrums, etc. There is no way to win in General Discussion.

Oh, you mean she will get the Jaina treatment? Jaina who said the Sunreavers should not be trusted and was proven right by the Mage campaign that they would betray Dalaran, again.

Wait I did the mage campaign and don’t remember them betraying Dalaran again, but it has been years since.
