For the love of god

This is a video game, my dude. It’s all equally as meaningless.

There is lots of content for most people. If you just want to do mythics - then come back a week later.

I mean, it sucks that there isn’t much to do (for me) this week, but it is what it is. No different than last week.

Thats been standard practice for years, most classes have changed & so has crafted gear so the 1 week gives players a chance to learn the new spec and be prepared for when raid does open.

7 days worth of dailies in the new zone to level renown for recipes etc

Wow players nowdays are like petulant children GIVE ME IT NOWWWWWWW I WANT IT NOWWWWW.

Thought this article would be appropriate for you, lol: " Blizzard’s job is to satisfy impatient players who want ‘new stuff every day, every hour,’ says studio head" You can find it on pcgamer … com

Look, I don’t say this to be judgmental, but I sincerely think you should consider that you may have a problem. Games are great recreation, and I don’t condemn people for having gaming marathons or stretches. But I have a concern:
Someone said farm achievements, and you said they are old and meaningless. Bruh, it’s a game. All of it is digital and meaningless. The game also has plenty to do: xmog farm, go for achievements, grind rep, get into battle pets, etc. But none of these are fun to you, I’m guessing, and you specifically mentioned mythic 0 and normal raid. It’s interesting bc even if they released the normal raid, you’d do it and then be locked out, and STILL have nothing to do for the week.
So what you’re meaning to say is that you want new gear.
Which is what concerns me. You’re playing this game for the carrot at the end of the stick. That’s a very unhealthy life to live.

You also need to be humble and acknowledge that not everyone sits in front of WoW and plays for 12 hours straight to kill the newly released content in one afternoon. Many players have jobs, social lives, family, etc. So a week time gives them the window to do the quests into the Emerald Dream, catch up on gear a bit, kill some rare spawns, etc.

I love this game so much, and I’m so glad it hasn’t fallen or failed even though the playerbase can have your mentality, which is just so awful and tbh not sustainable. Like, dude, I can admit I don’t know what all goes on behind the creation of new content. What checks and balances they have to meet, what stress tests, bugs, etc. etc. Can you admit you don’t know either?
And can we also admit how crummy it is that if they did just spam new content on a daily basis, but it lacked substance, heart, or even had bugs and issues, you’d complain about that too?

WoW players make it IMPOSSIBLE for the devs to appease. I get why they stopped listening to the playerbase for a while lol. Because the human tendency is selfishness and giving no credit where it’s due.

That has to end. And it starts with you.

One week break between seasons, oh the horror.

It’s fine. I like having a little time to do the story quests before the season starts.
