She was never about “For the horde”
That was a ruse, to keep the orcs and the “BLOOD AND HONOR” types under her heel.
Clearly she’s been a Villain this whole time, i don’t understand the surprise.

I mean are you really? It’s been stated since day one of WoW that the Forsaken (meaning their leader) is only in this for the sake of convenience. Sylvanas has shown time and time again she could care less about others. Well maybe for Nathanos since all the Windrunners have that human fever.

Since Sylvanas has a great many fanboys and bootlickers…Yeah, I expect/fear a ‘She was a hero all along’ twist either at the end of this xpack or sometime next.

I do think there’s gonna be a twist, I don’t think it’s gonna be ‘I was secretly fighting for you, the living, all along! Because I actually care about the horde!’
I think the twist will be more like ‘To fight this yet to be revealed Big Bad Epic Guy, y’all need to be undead! So stop fighting me every step of the way and die already!’

She has literally been a Villain since arthas died.
Her need to kill arthas is the only thing that kept her on the side of the heroes.

kinda annoyed that she managed to parry a 2 handed axe with a dagger without breaking her wrist (try it it hurts alot)
also cannot fathom how a veteran like saurfang thought it was a good idea to dual wield heavy weapons against a foe with clearly faster weapons.

My bad. Misunderstood - but to be fair, she’s been open about her utilitarian view of the Horde since Cata. So were you hoping she would be different than she was being portrayed in game and in the books?

Well up until that cinematic, it seemed all the imhumane things she did was directed at the alliance and its supporters. Which i could get behind. I would 10/10 burn an alliance city with just innocents if it furthered hordes cause.
But screaming the horde is nothing standing infront of orgrimmar doesnt seem smart. Oh look the mastermind got a small cut on her face and went batpoop crazy.

It wasn’t a shift, it was always her character. She was manipulating the Horde. She never cared.

I’m not entirely caught up on all the storylines. Did we ever find out why the “spirits” were telling Vol’jin that Sylvanas was the right choice for warchief, or did Blizzard just conveniently forget that that was a thing?
Bless, Gilneas is a mess because of her. Maybe some kind of restoration under the new alliance dead we have could happen.
