Sylvanas could’ve thrown us to the lions but she didn’t she made sure the player who stayed loyal stayed undercover and out of harms way. She even had this outcome all planned out. Sylvanas holds a respect to the player character who stayed with her just like she respects Nathanos.
You may say as much as you want about her but those who remained loyal to her still had her gratitude. She could’ve bounced out and say screw you all but she didn’t.

Makes perfect sense if you read the loyalty quest text. She says she wants everyone to serve death. Sylvanas has had dealings with Helya in the past. And she needs everyone to die.
So obviously this is setting up for the Thunderbluff feint, Stormwind raid, where the Horde and Alliance all show up and everyone dies, and the next expansion begins.
And Saurfang comes over and says hows it goin?

What? The whole point of the Sylvanas loyalist tie off was to show players aligned with her that we are still with her and she’s still with us, she even told me I was one of few who understand how it really is, so I’d say that takes me off the “you are nothing” list.

The only comment she said that, kinda hurts, was her disappointment in the Forsaken clinging to life, hope. In the loyalist scene.

Well she is nothing but a future raid boss to me.
People loyal to Sylvanas remind me of people who vote against their party out of spite.

I’m not loyal to Sylvanas, I just know the Blizzard writers love their waifu and she’ll be right in the end. Because Sylvanas always wins.
I mean it’s looking like they’re going the Arthas route. Considering the Loyalist cut scene confirms she is attempting to “master death”.
She’s probably not going to be a good guy- but she’s going to be an EXTREMELY played up bad guy beyond what she deserves.

no, shes being played up the villain, and the NPC’s in the game make comments that imply they know the whole story, but they aren’t telling you the player, Illidan/Alleria. So you are being led around by your nose in the dark at the moment.
I mean I’m not saying Sylvanas is GOOD, I’m saying shes pragmatic, anything that saves Azeroth saves her and the Forsaken.

I don’t think she cares about the forsaken anymore either, she said she “pitied” them but now she just wants to master death.
I mean- Arthas had a “good guy” plan too but it was ultimately evil. I feel like Sylvanas’s will be the same.
Everyone thinks they’re the good guy, that their methods are justified or whatever.
No, I think it’s another writers being crappy “ham it up for outrage”.
At first she wanted to “destroy hope”.
Then it’s “destroy hope, which is life”
Then it’s “I need to feed souls to the darkness”
They are purposefully being 16 yr old edgy cryptic.
She’s basically saying she needs to kill people and get them to the Shadowlands. But then the writers go “oh how can we make this cryptic and cool. OH I KNOW make her sound like a 14 yr old emo Myspace person in 2004!”
