Why not make it 3? Don’t limit yourself to just 2, you’re better than that.
I don’t pay for this game so someone I don’t even know can decide what I’ll do and when. Absolutely NOTHING is missed when my fishing is interrupted. Absolutely NOTHING is missed when I can’t farm mats or run from one place to another. I’m missing NOTHING by someone else deciding how I’m going to spend my time. The assertion is idiotic.
I always wanted to do something about all this hatred , I m not quite sure how to go about it as of yet , but I truly believe that eventually the day will come when all people will understand one another and live in harmony.
LOL riiiiight. PvPers are the biggest babies in the entire world of gaming. Over 90% of the threads in classic were PvPers whining about something or another. They cried about being camped in the cave in AV. They cried about it taking an hour to get to BRM. They cried about “muh world buffs!” being dispelled. They cried about quest givers being killed. They cried about cities being camped. And then they left and flocked to a server dominated by their faction. All that’s left are pretend PvP servers.
Retail doesn’t even have those – they have warmode. It’s hysterical when PvP players pretend they’re tough and rugged rawr rawr! We’ve all seen this movie before.
It’s World of WARCRAFT. It’s supposed to have the undercurrent of inter-faction rivalry. World PvP makes the world more alive, dangerous and interesting. It’d be beyond boring playing on a PvE server.
BUT I don’t have anything against people who choose to play that way. The real compromise would be something like Retail’s War Mode, where you can have either option at the touch of a button. I really like World PvP, but it can be annoying when an 80man raid conglomerate is holding Blackrock Mountain and you miss your raid time by over an hour. In those moments, I’d like to just go to Undercity, “Turn off Warmode” and then go raid.
Either way, there’s no right way to enjoy the game. I can’t imagine playing on a PvE realm but you seem to think you can’t even skin mobs on a PvP realm LOL so… you do you.
Edit: I guess everyone is stuck at level 1 skinning on Nightblade haha.
Those were not PvP’ers. Those were PvE’ers who rolled on the wrong server.
Everyone you listed crying are people that dont understand what a pvp server is. You labeling them pvpers is on you
Real pvpers are superior in just about every aspect you can name in game mechanically & psychologically. Their openess to confrontation just makes them stronger willed/braver than players that hide on pve realms. If this fact upsets you consider why you dont enjoy pvp & see if it has any correlation to you avoiding competition / confrontation in your real life and ill bet a whole phase of loot it does.
I killed and cannibalized a gnome today.
Dear diary. .
Real PvEers are superior in just about every aspect you can name in game mechanically & psychologically. I know this is true because I just said it.
So Apparently the only PvPers in the game are the three horde on Benediction.
I explained the logic behind it.
Pvp, especially in vanilla but even through retail, requires more mechanical skill and game knowledge than pve does.
Psychology i already explained why you’re a weaker breed as well you can scroll up.
You can say “nuh uh” but thats all you’ve got as an argument. Nice.
“Mechanical skill”??? Come on. WoW PvP is hardly rocket science. In fact, WoW PvP is pretty much scoffed at in the gaming community.
Nah. You typed words that make you look silly. This really isn’t about PvP. Tons of people who play on PvE servers love their BGs, arenas and WPvP. This is about rolling on a PvP server. Claiming people are “weak” because they want to fish without 2 warriors, a mage and a druid corpse camping them is just kooky. Most folks call that smart.
Ironic the lack of self awareness.
You don’t wpvp. You choose to hide from it. This is the reality of your choice. Your battleground for the 10,000th time isnt the same as an open world battleground all over the map in unique locations. Head on a swivel while you level. Its half the experience of the game and you opt out of it.
This is your narrative of how it plays out. Like mentioned above your victimhood Olympic gold medalist opinions isnt reality.
Im never camped. If i ever get myself into a situation i cant move forward with you just pivot to a new task or area. You don’t need to keep literally crying about big bad pvpers and why you wont play around them pathetic “man”.
You’re still missing an opportunity, though… World PVP. The assertion that you aren’t missing an opportunity is just as pathetic, as World PVP, within itself, is a part of the game.
World PVP still happens on pve servers, it’s just opt-in only. I am usually a PVE server player, just not this go. And I always end up fighting people outside instances or some other. Not nearly as much as on a pvp server but it still happens when I feel like engaging.
I like that when all I want to do is finish my quests I can turn that off.
Horde HC right now is all about level 60s carrying low level players through the starting zones now and they kill everything so fast I cant get any of the loot. Have some 60 sham and 60 druid in Brill on my HC realm while I was trying to level up a mage but couldn’t get any kills cuz those two had low level toons tag stuff and they would kill it. That is technically mob tagging.
No, I’m not scared, I just find it boring. Getting ganked again and again is boring as … and corpseruns are even worse. When I want to play WoW, I want to play.
In Classic RP servers existed as well as PvE servers. Consesual PvP happened on both.
Killsbrad Bloodhills isn’t too bad except for the occasional cowards that only attack in the fields or the mines(NPCs are friendly to Alliance),
STVietnam will always be a murder hole.
And there it is again. You’re equating being smart with “hiding.” It’s just nuts, man.
Right. Because there’s a ton of defensive moves my level 25 has against a level 50 rogue. Putting yourself in that position is stupid. It’s like telling someone they should be walking around the inner city at night by themselves carrying a bag of money because it’s exciting, or something. Doing that wouldn’t make you a tough guy, it would make you an idiot.
Exactly. Imagine thinking that engaging in activities when you want to is somehow “weak.” It’s really strange how PvPers came up with this.
No I’m not. I’ve actually engaged in a little WPvP and had a great time. I’ll pass on the PvP server, though, just like I passed on that opportunity to pick up that ratty sofa on the side of the road the other day. PvP servers are garbage.
