At 14g each, they are cheaper than some normal herbs. Sorrowmoss is selling for 22g atm. It seems a rather poor way to make gold.

Possibly so, but there are over 42,000 on the regionwide AH atm, and the more that get put up the lower that price will go. That’s the issue with the region wide system now: becoming more efficient at farming something faster and getting more means exactly tht - people will do it, put heaps up and the price drops.
It’s a bit of self-defeating function.
Which for a primary stat feast - the primary consumer - means that 6 figures get used every day.
Those snowballs on the AH are mostly new ones. I keep seeing the same snowstorm mount owners post tens of thousands of new copies every day after they get bought out.
The weekly market revenue for it is easily gold cap, all going to toons running into walls on a store mount.
