Follower Dungeons, Why Isn't The Healer Coded to Do DPS?

I must be one of those few people who think the healer shouldn’t be required to do anything other than, you know, keep your :donkey: alive.

Also, what if Wulf is Neko? :upside_down_face:

Follower dungeons is for learning not min maxing .

Because your posts are better and get more attention!

Healer followers not DPSing just proves that player character healers not DPSing is NPC behavior. :eyes:

Thanks for the kind thought.

I would like to advise you that if you have an idea for a topic, just post a thread concerning the subject matter. Because I have found out that in this GD forum the responses by the visitors are totally random for the most part.

As an example; I have posted topics that have garnered only 7 replies and 11 views. While one of my other threads garnered 3,500 replies and 35,000 views. There truly is no rime or reason how the visitors to the forum will react.

There is also the myth that if you post controversial topics that people will storm in and fill the topic thread with replies. But all that will happen is the Mods will Nuke the thread from space. Don’t do it. Regardless of how non-controversial your topic is be prepared for the forum mean-crowd to call you a troll or that you use chatgpt. Those are the going insults. Just ignore them.

So if you think your topic is within the bounds of the forum rules, and general decency, and you think it is an interesting and perhaps an entertaining topic. Just go ahead and post a thread. There’s no guarantee as to what the responses will be from the forum members. Sometimes hundreds or thousands of responses, sometimes zero responses.

Good luck to you my friend.

So you want the Follower dungeon healers to be liked Valeera. Which would be fine if they had the same amount of power that Valeera has. But its basically a Normal level dungeon and it hardly seems worthwhile to suggest they do anything but heal. I have never had a problem surviving a Follower dungeon so not really sure why this would be wanted.

no you didnt

no it wouldnt

i think you are silly

that is the only thing they are required to do

if you want to be a good healer though, you dont stand around doing nothing

Probably the main reason why healers are the least important role in the game. As player skill in the other two roles improves, healers are the first to be considered unnecessary for group content lol.

Heh. Tell that to my delving toons. I forgot to set up Velveeta as healer on Kim and she was flattened.

I have found that letting the tank free to lead my followers dungeon group is fine but when I stop moving forward the NPCs also stop. So the deal is to move at a slower rate so the tank dosent pull more that she can handle. It’s old school but in follower dungeons it works like a charm.
