Folks Who DO Want to Raid but DON'T Raid, Why Not?

Well BFA killed my guild in the middle of Uldir. I’ve looked around a few times but keep running into snobs(i’ll keep it civil). After a few tries I gave up. Don’t care now, and even if I did I will not do the horrible visions to keep up with cloak so BFA is done for me. Hopefully guild comes back for Shadowlands, if not oh well, Torghast looks like it will ruin SL anyway.

My guild asks me the same question. Fact is. I’m a flake.

Yeah, that’s very true. Unfortunately think that approach - learning 100% entirely as you pull - is pretty much dead. Even guild runs expect you to have to given the video a quick look before you attempt it together on launch day, so the “see it live” experience is pretty much gone.

I completely agree. While I definitely enjoy the teamwork aspect and especially the friendships that can be forged thru group trials… I just am not willing to make that sort of time commitment anymore. Especially now that I have a child with special needs.

The pressure of having to be there at the certain time and to stay there for a certain length of time, it’s just too much, I can’t reliably do it and I wouldn’t want to let other people down. And honestly, even if I had I all the time in the world, I still wouldn’t want to. It’s just way too much of an iron clad time sink and my time and my freedom is worth more to me than that.
