Nazjatar is really not fun

I had high hopes for 8.2, but they’ve been kinda dashed. Mechagon is kinda fun, but it feels like I’m progressing so slowly (yet strangely, running out of bag space!)

Nazjatar, on the other hand isn’t fun to be in at all. It feels like a tedious grind. Actually, it very much reminds me of The Isle of Quel’danas from the end of Burning Crusade, except way harder to navigate. While Blizzard hot-fixed some of the quests and made them a bit more bearable, they still did not improve on the fun factor at all. Hitting revered will be a painful grind.

No it really isn’t. But you better learn to love it, going to be your only newest content for at least 6-8 months…

I mean, once the rep grind is over, what’s the point of doing the zones at all passed that? Maybe herbing and mining? Then what? Can functionally ignore the new zones entirely after PF2

There is no point this is the same bandaid blizzard pulled with Legion when they released those three stupid draenei continents.

Its like on Grandmas Boy where that guy comes into JPs office and is like “hey, the creatures on level 6 look like those on level 2” and so they decide to just change the color of them…

There is no originality left in the world… of warcraft.

I didn’t like it at 1st but it’s grown on me. I’ve learned to embrace this game as is, and can normally convince myself that what I’m doing is important and fun, not always but mostly.

The zone reminds me of daytime Argus, but as a tank I have little issue getting around Naz, and there is always something going on, I love it!

I’ll likely be switching to Classic in a couple months. It’s the reason I renewed my sub, to begin with.

Are you kidding? Najatar is great.

I waited multiple days for the fabious mount spawn. Sitting for 8+ hours at a time and just using wow as an anonymous chat room

And then as I was falling asleep it appeared and we all rushed to it. Has 2 minutes to get there and everyone was trying to beat the timer and we got it.

Was totally 100% worth the wait.

You can’t replicate these experiences. You just can’t. I’ve had more fun in nazjatar than I have in any other expac

My favorite so far has been getting up above Newhome and watching the sheer number of people attempting to get the Colossal Sky Ray to kite it to Anemonar. It became just an entertaining spectacle and people were laughing and having a good time about it.

As for the OP, I guess enjoy Classic? Tedious grind describes the tail end of it after the novelty of drinking and eating after every pull wears off. But that’s just me. I find Nazjatar to be one of the better end zones they’ve added in, though Mechagon is still loads more fun.

I’m having fun in both Nazjatar and Mechagon; although I did also happen to like Queldanas and Timeless Isle.

Nazjatar is great for reminding me of my own mortality as I corpse hop through murlocs

There is a reason they released a 6 month sub mount, because its gonna be that long of a content draught. These 2 zones are maybe worth a month, at most of activity. You can get virtually Heroic raid level gear so , why bother raiding or LFR ? Then everyone is right back to having nothing to do and subs will tank again , i already see it happening. Hardly anyone came back to my guilds for 8.2 and a few that did, already stopped logging in.

I’m enjoying it.

Once I’m done with flying a lot of “dailies” in Naz are going to be hard passes as I just quit caring. Mecha will be an absolute skip barring the emissary daily and it’s actually not even the grind that bothers me. These zones just feel… well I can’t put my finger on it but if the end result is not wanting to bother with alts then it can’t be good.

I have to agree. I want to like it, it’s pretty… but it’s a mess. The gear stuff is ok, but Im not sure if it’s worth the headache.

The music is 20/10. Best music in WoW period. Those mechagon pieces should be up for a grammy. For real.

Rest is meh.

I’ve spent so much gold on repairs in Nazjatar :face_vomiting:

Nazjatar does seem like the murlocs returning the favor of our countless slaughtering of their people. At least, for now, until we out gear the zone in 3 weeks.

I actually really like the zone, I would probably like it better if it was underwater though as the terrain sucks. But the general theme and quest design I find both fun and at times rather amusing. about a 8 out of 10 on the enjoyment scale in that part…but 1 out of 10 for the terrain getting around makes me want to barf can’t wait for flight.

I kind of agree but I’m not too worried about it. The problem with Nazjatar is that it seems to be intentionally designed to want you to get flying unlocked as soon as possible. Even after you unlock all the flight points and the flight whistle, getting to spots on the map where you need to do your World Quests can be frustrating.

My solution is to do a couple of easy World Quests each day just to get some progress. The rest of my time is spent doing other things. This content is not going anywhere soon. Might as well make it last.

What’s pissing me off about the zone is the buggy quests like Requisition: More Seaweed. I completed every daily/world quests, killed more than 10 rares and only came across 2 seaweed. If it’s not a bug then it’s very bad game design, 3 hours in that zone for 2 seaweed? /AbandonQuest
