That is how we found him today, before I killed him.
Back in the day, when we had PvP servers. I was flying by and a hunter was capping Loque’nahak. So I quickly killed the hunter capped Loque’nahak, then killed the hunter again. Good times.

Moral of the story: always dismiss your current pet before trying to tame a new one. Save yourself the heartache this man suffered.

Oh man, that would be horrid. 
When I got Loque on one of my hunters, I made absolutely sure that I put my pets in the stable. I wanted no accidental mess ups, at all. Had been wanting that kitty since Wrath, and finally got him when Slands was coming to a close.

There’s a discord to have hunter pets pinged and first hunter to whisper person tames it. You can get it within a day or 2 via that discord.
