I concur.

It is intellectually dishonest to believe the size of map gives them the right to restrict flight. At this point it reveals that they should not be in the game industry or designing games in general.

Glad to see no flying myself. Flying only serves to dilute the population in the open world. Larger maps allowing the room for people to zoom around in without filling it with content are not better than smaller more concentrated maps where enemies and places have purpose.
